Wahlburgers — Restaurant in St. Charles

First timer! Found out that they been open for two years. I love cheeseburgers! You can see I had a nice view however my timing was off about thirty minutes because the lawn grew was weed waking around the pond! Lol I had the burger, tater tots and a Sam Adams! It was juicy and ok? Wasn’t impressed; I guess I like a charcoal flame burger. I will try the burger at home! Saw the patties at Meijers! What I say from this point on I hold the manager accountable. I had an inexperienced server and don’t hold her responsible! I needed a napkin and got one another server. I was waiting, wanted more and went inside. Five minutes later my server came by and I ask for cheese cake to go. Now waiting ten minutes by the kitchen area the manager sat down at her computer. I got my cheese cake and the manager told the server to get me a bag napkin and utensils! Then the manager ask me how everything was? I said good and bad. I said I’ll leave a review. The place is huge and under used? I don’t know how long they will be there? I wish I would have gone to the Assembly in Hoffman Estates! Go to the bar and get a char burger! That the best burger I’ve had about five times in fifteen years! Sorry Wahlburger hope you well; unfortunately I will not be going back.

08/25/2022 I tried the Wahlburger fresh beef patties at Meijer. Much better flame broiled!!!!! 09/03/2022 had my third Fresh burger today! My finial thought: If you like a juicy burger/ greasy burger than this is the burger for you! Flame broiling is better? However this is not the burger for me!...

Under new management!! This Wahlburgers location is unique as it is home to New Kids On The Block and Wahlberg memorabilia. There is indoor seating and an INCREDIBLE outdoor patio area complete with a fire pit. The food is outstanding! The burgers are made fresh to order. There are specialty cocktails and mixed drinks that are perfect for an evening night cap or celebration that requires libations. Make sure to walk around, both inside and out, for special surprise memorabilia including awards and props! The star of the show is, hands down, the staff! We were greeted and seated right away. Our order was taken and drinks were on our table within minutes. Everything was done with a smile. Our servers, Lisa, Kim, and Chris, made us feel like royalty. They checked back on us to make sure our orders were made to our liking and made recommendations that turned an average experience into a unique culinary journey. This is a place that mom and dad can bring the kids after a little league game or after school, but they can come back later and enjoy a cocktail out on the patio, by the fire pit. It's also a great place to bring a gaggle of kids after a school theater production or music performance. Their new manager, Paul, has put his signature sense of purpose and aspiration for achieving excellence, and coupled that with Donnie Wahlberg's proven track record for spreading love, through their mutual love of food. Just wanted to bring to your attention a very disappointing first impression of this restaurant. To start off, us and a older couple were rudely told to keep backing up and to go back outside after we were just let in. Once we were seated we had no silverware and ended up having to find my own from another table because no one ever brought us any. My friend ordered a burger and got a 3oz patty on his bun. Literally looked like a McDonald’s $1 burger size. He also ordered a side of cinnamon sweet tots and got plain sweet potato tots. I got they same one burger and requested Paul’s sauce and avocado spread on side got neither. I asked for an order of fries didn’t come so had to ask another waitress for them came after I was already done and almost ready to go. The waitresses overall were short and kind of had an attitude we felt like as if we kept inconveniencing them because they didn’t bring all our food correctly the first time. We had a total of 3 different servers throughout the meal which is extremely unorganized and frustrating. This was our 3rd time trying to get in and finally decided to wait the hour out as we had so much anticipation to try your restaurant. We have always bought your burgers from out local grocery stores and could not wait to eat here. I cannot tell you how let down we were from the experience.

Edit: 1/28/21 I have not heard back from anyone including Donnie after reaching out to him personally . Very upset with the customer...
