Zstrict At Chelsea Piers — Attraction in Stamford

Visiting from out of town, and Came with my 9 year old son for a Thursday appointment booked for 11am. Opening times were stared on the front door as 11am opening, though their website said 10am opening. When we arrived at 10:55, the door was locked and the inside appeared definitely closed. Called the number on their website, same as the one on google, it rang once then went silent, no one answered. 11am came and went. Finally someone entered the place and unlocked the door at 11:10. If I had been the employee and seen people waiting outside, I would have opened the door for them and greeted them. Not the case here. Service was definitely NOT with even one smile, NOT one “Thank you”. It seemed as if it was a chore to have us there.

Had to rent clubs given we were visiting from out of town. They gave my son a kids set for free. This was not at all even close to a full set and some of the clubs were quite old and worn it appeared. There were duplicates of clubs instead, like double 7s. My adult set was also not a full set, but was fine for the purposes of just playing and having a good time.

The simulator experience was good overall. No complaints there.

Regarding food and drink….what food and drink??!! Again service here is horrible. There is a bar, but there was no one there, no one offered us a drink at any time…soda, etc. Per their website, there’s also food, but we were not given a menu or anything at all, even though it was lunch time.

Maybe this place is better in the evenings or on weekends. But to me, service should be consistent at all times. It’s all about the people to make the experience. Service and experience here was NOT as advertised.

I would not recommend the place after my experience here. Happy to give it another shot at another time, but maybe.

Visited Zstrict on Saturday night (7pm). Took my husband and brother out for a fun night of golf. Unfortunately it wasn't fun at all. The young guy at the front desk was very rigid and direct. The atmosphere was "dry" very low music and it was dark. We saw an advertisement at the front desk, it was a weekend special for unlimited pitchers of Bud light. My husband and I decided to order one. We walked over to the bar to order our pitcher and food. We asked the bartender for the special. She was very rude. She didn't even greet us and seemed bothered by our presence. Within our 1 hour of play we decided to order a second pitcher. We were also reminded during our playtime that we only had 15 minutes remaining and that we would need to wrap it up soon. My husband proceeded to close out our tab and realized we were being charged for another pitcher although there was a weekend special. He asked the bartender, Laura, I believe was her name, why were we charged for another pitcher if the special says unlimited. She said that was only applicable after 8pm. I then asked the guy at the front desk he said there was a 2 hr limit for that special, we were only there for an hour. Apparently he decided to then ask the bartender and she made up another rule and said it should be $18 per person for the weekend pitcher special. The front desk guy ran outside when we were close to our car to share this information with us. I asked him to show me the fine print on the special saying that. There was no such thing. It was a very uncomfortable night. Not the fun night we were expecting. I don't think we'll ever be back. I booked my department's corporate holiday party with ZSTRICT and everything was seamless, right from the start. When I reached out to toplot pricing details and to coordinate logistics, the GM, Ben, was incredibly helpful. He and his assistant GM, Jacob, made everything super simple and easy to plan. From ordering catering to setting up a rolling bar tab, nothing was made difficult. The night of the event, everything was as agreed upon. The staff was very considerate in putting up signage for,my event. The golfing bays were super cool! There were games for less serious golfers and simulated courses for those that know how to play. The staff was so friendly. They were very attentive throughout the night and made sure eveyone was comfortable and having a good time. The bar staff and the catering staff were also incredibly nice. Every detail was truly thought out. It was an overall great experience. I highly recommend this place for an event or any casual outing...
