If I could give less than one star, I probably would. I am 29 and did a lot of research for where I wanted to get work done since it was my first time and accents seemed very promising. However, from start to finish, it proved to be less than. The staff, minus like two people, lacked any bedside manners or personality. Everyone was actually kind of rude and snobby.. The rooms weren't impressive either, but I was hoping none of this was a reflection of their work, so I moved forward with the consultation. I was talked into a package of syringes (I think 6) for $4,500. I had quite a bit placed during that visit, but when I came back for my follow up, I asked for more to be placed because the results were less than satisfactory. I'll admit that I had a lot to correct and they did get me to a semi-decent baseline I guess. Anyways, I went back for more filler and Botox pretty frequently, but always had to ask for more during my follow ups because it just didn't seem like it was working the way it should've.. After a few Botox treatments, I was noticing I had to go back a lot sooner than what was typical. The lines were going away and smoothing out, but it didn't last long at all. They said you want to do it every 3-5 months, but I felt like it was dissolving much more rapidly... I spoke to a few other people who were more familiar with this since I am still so new to it, and they all agreed that my results shouldn't be wearing off so quickly. My most recent appointment to have Botox injections was October 27th and I had a follow up 3 weeks after (where I again asked for more because it wasn't looking right.. one side of my forehead was frozen while the other side still had the same lines..) and it is now December 20th and I'm already in need of more.. with all of that being said, I found a new place where the prices are so much more reasonable, the people are all friendly and don't mind talking with you to answer questions, the building is very well kept and clean and I am actually happy with my results. I will never go back to accents nor recommend them to anyone as they are a huge rip off and do not take care of the patient/customer. I'd save my money and go elsewhere. Spent quite a bit of money there that I wish I hadn't, but I guess you "live and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time going to accents for juvederm in my lips and botox. I purchased a ācovid specialā they were running to welcome back patients after being closed due to the pandemic. Only appt available for awhile was in West Bloomfield office, fine Iāll drive there no worries (I live in Shelby Twp). My first appt, Sylvia injected the 30 units of botox I paid for, and placed some juvederm in my lips. She stated at the end of my session that my lips will be swollen for 2 weeks, then at that point we will use the remaining juvederm I didnāt use at this appt next visit if you want more, since itās hard to tell with swelling what is juvederm and what is swelling. Iāve had my lips done once before and this is the exact way I was instructed before. Great, Iāll come back in two weeks and we will go from there.
Fast forward to my two week follow up, mind you I had to drive all the way from Shelby Twp again, but since I was getting the remaining Syringe of juvederm I paid for and didnāt fully use, I figured it was worth it...
Well I was there less then 5 minutes after a hour drive to get there, and was told by Sylvia she used all my juvederm and that she waits 2 months to do any touch ups on the lips? So now I wasted an hour drive there just to be told that, for a 2 minute follow up? What is the point of making sure the patient is happy if youāre not going to use the remaining juvederm in my lips I paid for? I would have never driven an hour to be told that, then leave. I needed 6 more units of botox since what I was given wasnāt enough, but I wouldnāt have driven that far for that, and would have left my botox as is.
My lips look unfortunately no different then before and now Iām dissatisfied and having buyers remorse for spending that kinda money for nothing. What a waste, I was hoping to achieve some self improvement as a mom of three, but left feeling guilty I wasted that money on myself for nothing. I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my second visit to see the doctor for Botox. The first visit was neither good nor bad. I understand thereās an adjustment period to new doctors and I had recently switched, as my former physician retired (who was phenomenal, I never need more than 50 units). I received 60 units, which is much more than I usually receive. However, we decided to start using to treat my TMJ. I expressed my areas of concern were my forehead and crows feet- first and foremost. The doctor stated at the end of the appointment to follow up within a week if I required adjustments or was not completely happy with the outcome of the injections. So a week later I did just that, Iāve been getting Botox for years and know at this point if Iām not seeing the desired results I need more or the Botox was not administered the way it was requested to achieve my desired results. After waiting for the doctor for 30 minutes (that I left work for). He came in, I explained my concerns, he shared he administered 30 units to my jaw area (way more than I had asked), that it takes 30 days to really see the effects of the injections, (completely inaccurate), that I could come back at that point if I was still not happy. Additionally, since I expressed I had movement in my forehead and around my eyes (not a little, like I hadnāt even had injections)- his response was patient shaming me. āI donāt go for the Joan Rivers look, I havenāt in my 25 years of practicingā. So at this point I had taken time from work (a week later as instructed), waited 30 minutes, was shamed, and out $700. I absolutely love the staff at this office. But I will NEVER be back. Horrible bedside manner. Both of my sisters had appointments and they have also been canceled. So...
