Update: still horrible. After spending a painful 30 minutes of frustration and anger on thier website I was finally able to order the 2 boxes of wet cat food I needed. Mind you, I'm home, sick, and only ordered from fleet farm because our parents gave us a gift card for some reason or other. The website makes it as difficult as humanly possible to use and yet.... VICTORY!!! Wait....nope. 5 minutes after returning from digital hell I was notified via email that my order was canceled. Apparently Fancy Feast got real damn popular in those 5 minutes. So, I called. 15 minutes on hold and Sara notified me that only ONE of the boxes were cancelled and I could pick up the other one. She did inform me that their stock number is off so this happens all of the time. Reassuring. She then said I could order something else and pick it up. But no, I couldn't. The gift card was now empty and the site kept reloading the payment page. Just as I'm getting REALLY irritated I get a notification that BOTH items are ready for pick up! Yay! Drive over to the hillbilly pickup yard (complete with Bubba security guard) and patiently wait for my Fancy Feast. Tommy speeds out on the pallet jack and very confusedly looks at the email confirmation and I explain I'm picking up cat food. (Don't even get me started on the debacle that ensued over a hyphenated last name). After many name revisions and a final product hunt down Tommy returns smiling with accomplishment, toting one box of cat food. When I show him the email confirmation with 2 boxes he tells me I will only be charged for one and if I need help he will get someone. No Tommy, I don't need help. I need frickin FANCY FEAST. I tell him no thank you and we drive away. Realizing the store I'm patronizing and why, I also realize it is pointless as I will not be patronizing them...
Read moreIn the past year the overall quality of this store has gone down dramatically. They seem to be in a perpetual state of moving merchandise around in the store, the staff rarely knows where anything is, and there are never enough cashiers. As I write this, I’m in line with seven other customers and there is one register open. It is sad to see such a once great store going down the tube; this used to be my go-to store for pretty much any sort of hardware or farm and garden need.
Edit: I ended up abandoning my cart with almost $100 of merchandise in it and left the store after waiting in line for far too long without moving at all. I don’t blame the workers; the one cashier and trainee were doing the best they could. There was only one other employee who was on task with something at the service desk. This situation (and many others like it that I’ve experienced here lately) is a management and training issue- I’ve tried to give this store the benefit of the doubt but significant frustration in some way has be the norm the last ten times or so that I’ve visited this store. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid when this store opened at this location but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere...
Read moreWanted to purchase a craftsman lawn tractor, price $2200.00. No one and I mean NO ONE at the store could give me any information with respect to said lawn tractor. Asked to put it on hold till 6 pm that evening. Called at 5 and asked to pay for the tractor on my credit card. Was told that was impossible and I had to make the 45 mile drive back to the store on Friday even though I would not be able to pick it up until the following Wednesday. The store manager was curt and impolite and did absolutely nothing to help me SPEND $2200.00 at their store.
I was also told there were only 3 left in stock and there may or may not be one left by Wednesday when I could finally come in to pick it up as......., THEY DO NOT DELIVER.
I purchased a John Deere locally, was given a fabulous warranty and it was delivered to my home the same day. I WILL NEVER spend another dime at your store. Apparently you made too much money last week as you certainly were not at all interested in my $2200.00.
I wish there were a negative star rating I could give this store and the employees, most especially the store manager I dealt with. Shame on...
