Hammer Ranch Center — Attraction in Stockton

The Hammer Ranch Shopping Center use to be a nice and safe place to go shopping. But now sense the City of Stockton way of thinking. It's a haven for every homeless person. And other Cities dumping ground for their homeless. The City must stop this idea of free rent. And free money to the homeless. I see these people use the walls and Bushes for their toilet. I don't care what color these people are but am tired of having these types of people talking over our City. The City has to put a stop to Tub's programs of free money and rent. Now that he not Mayor put in place relocation programs for these people. We have deserts put in a water source and places were they can sleep eat. But training camp so they can learn a triad. Got our taxes done as soon as we got them like we normally do each year at H&R block. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. We even chit chatted with the receptionist while waiting for our tax guy to finish up with other client &had a good laugh with her & security guard who works there also. I've got to say that my favorite part about it was watching the kitties playing outside with one another, they were so cute! They have cleaned up the shopping center a bit. Still a lot of homeless and people soliciting. I understand the plight of homelessness, but the people around there are mostly a victim of their own life choices, and panhandling for personal gain is the primary goal. Getting angry if you don't "donate" it makes it hard to go there if you are elderly or women alone. Need more enforcement by police and shopping center landlord. Too many nice commercial places to have to not shop there....
