We went here from Bridgewater because it had 5 (or almost 5) stars and we were not disappointed! Liam did a full set of acrylics for my teenage daughter and he was very meticulous and we were both very happy with them!
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because we had an appointment and when we first came in, someone sat with us and started doing my daughter’s nails. Then several more people came in and the person who originally started helping us (a female), left us and went over and started on someone else. We were just sitting there, watching new customers who just walked in get served, and we were waiting a good 5-10 minutes. Then, when Liam finished with his customer, he came and did my daughter’s nails. I just felt they should have told the people who came in after us that they would have to wait a little bit, as we had called for an appointment. I don’t think it’s right to make someone wait who has an appointment to serve a walk in. Or to start on one customer and then leave them and start on another one, regardless of appt or not. They probably do that so you won’t leave. Even if it had been communicated to me, that someone would be right back with us, that MIGHT have been ok. But nobody said anything so I was confused and a getting a little frustrated. At any rate, the staff was ALL very friendly and he did a fantastic job. We would definitely go back and my daughter...
Read moreI scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance for a pedicure and acrylics. I was early and didn’t mind waiting a bit. They did my pedicure first. It was quick and no conversation, which I don’t mind honestly. For my nails I wanted this grey with some glitter accents. It was simple enough and I had a picture for reference. They said ok and started prepping my nails. Once they were done someone else came and started actually doing them. I thought this is weird but ok. Then I heard the first woman who prepped my nails say something that sounded like a complaint about my request to the person who took over. I ignored and was just hoping to be done and be on my way soon. Then a third person comes to paint my nails. I have never experienced this at any other salon. I walked out of there with plain grey nails. My wedding was the next day and I had thick, plain white nails that looked like they had already been grown out. I was just so taken back by the terrible service. I schedule the appointment far in advance for my wedding nails and was treated like I was an inconvenience. I will never go back there and have recommended many friends to go elsewhere as well. There’s plenty of other more competent people who will be more than happy to provide you with a pleasant experience for what is suppose to be a relaxing time. P.s. I would not call this a spa. A nail...
Read moreI came in this evening for the first time for a pedicure & standard mani. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is so nice inside, and very clean!!! There is a beautiful nail bar in the front and pedicure stations in the back. Instead of the standard massaging chairs you find at most nail salons, the have oversized SUPER COMFORTABLE leather chairs... I could have sat their and relaxed humming along to the constant stream of fun pop music they play all night in that chair. Add in the super friendly and kind staff and the atmosphere creates the best nail salon I have been to in recent memory.
They did an amazing job on both my mani and pedi... awesome scrubs and massages for both, including a hot stone massage for the pedicure. One thing that was huge for me was the care and precision they exerted in my manicure. I don't like gel or acrylic nails (not hating, just a pp), so most salons just kind of blow through it and I end up with a subpar manicure. They did such a great job and all of my nails look fantastic!
I would give this place 6 stars...
