St. Vincent de Paul Society — Attraction in Stoughton

Management are out of their minds on the pricing for items they get for FREE. I’ve been going here since I was a kid and It’s very clear lately they’re marking things up to crazy prices. This is just one example from today that prompted me to write this. Asking $20 PER set of DVDs (they had 10 sets so asking $200 total!) when people have the same set online for a 1/4 of the price. If you’re a thrift store you should at least have your items priced cheaper than eBay. There’s a reason you have 3 book shelves full of DVDs that will continue to rot there at these insane prices. The clown show of management or whoever is responsible for pricing of these items should be ashamed of themselves. Thrift stores are meant for people to be able to buy second hand items for a reasonable price. Not pay $200 for a set of DVDs that don’t even go for half of what...

As I read some reviews on their pricing...I don't think people realize how cheap this place is compared to the Goodwills, salvation army and savers around here. I have been to many thrift stores and they are the cheapest when it comes to clothes, jeans are a little up there but no place is perfect and at least they have 2 colors for the sale.They are consistent with pricing where like Savers or Salvation army will price a certain brand at 6$ and then Down the rack same brand (sometimes in worse condition) for 13$, the only thing that does suck is having to look at all the racks for certain sizes which no lie took my husband and I about 2.5 hours and that was mostly...

I don't usually write reviews but the experience wasn't really good. Me and my friend wanted to purshase a chaire at that location on Tuesday June 4th, 2025 and we asked a Spanic woman about the price, she said $85 so after a few minutes while we standing by the chaire thinking what should we do, that same spanic woman came in with a piece of paper with handwriting that has a price of $125 to put on the chaire and she said it's from the manager she asked me to change the price in my opinion it shouldn't happen that way. Someone needs to investigate that place to find out what's going on...
