Very nice park with convenient parking, a playground, trails and lighted tennis courts. I rated it five stars, but honestly it could use a little more TLC. Unfortunately there were signs of vandalism who thought we wanted to see their blue spray paint on the rocks and trees. Also, some of the trails could use some brush clearing and sign updates. The playground is nice. Would be nice if it was a little larger as the park is a large and is very well used. But it is good for smaller kids. There are picnic tables and benches around the playground and the trees provide plenty of shade. The main trail did get upgraded with a new bridge... thankfully! I believe it was gone for several years. Currently there is no bathroom, but a new restroom and small awning have been approved to be built. The lighted tennis courts are extremely popular. The parking lot is close, but still requires a small walk down the hill to get to them. There are several concrete pads that used to be buildings that could be rented, but all that is left is the foundation. The city could make use of these and turn them into pavilions.... but for now, they are just concrete pads. The park is very large and the trails wander through the forest and by the river. Be prepared for some climbing and steps! There is plenty to see...

Something changed with this once beloved park and trail. Trails seem to have disappeared with no signs posted to alert hikers of any change. I could not find the beginning of the trail, and ended up in someones yard just to get to where the trail begins. As I walked down some steps, the trail just stopped. Literally, there was no more bridge for you to walk across to cross over the revene. No signs posted, tape, safety precautions, nothing. Very disappointed. The trails should have been completely closed off to begin with. What was left is not a safe area. I am not sure whats happening with this park, but it seems as of right now, the trails are no...

Took stroll on trails yesterday and almost fell off stairs that come to an abrupt end without warning. VERY dangerous especially to my children running ahead of me. This trail should be closed and blocked off. After scaling past the dangerous end of steps, came to fallen trees across path. Was saddened to see conditions have worsened over past year. On walk back to playground found rusted nails from freshly torn down building, and grills with rusted pipes waiting for next victim. Park security was there to lock up bathrooms on time, but surely no one is patrolling the paths or grounds for...
