This is a great place for a family hike. The trails are wooded and beautiful. There isn't much elevation gain which is great for all ages. The path is straightforward and swings by some fun things to see including a gnome's home and a sugar shack. Read moreSnowshoed in Weissner Woods today and was so dismayed at the increase in dog waste. Ran into several people and they said the same. In my hour I probably saw over 100 dog waste piles.
Sadly I might suggest making it no dogs allowed. I am a dog lover but this was awful!
