I stopped by on my way to see family. The visitor center has a nice gift shop inside with something for just about anyone. The lady working that day was very helpful and nice.
They have a civil war walking trail on the property which was very cool with information about the history of the site throughout the property. The grounds are kept nice and the trails arent hard so just about any age could walk it.
When you are done stop across the street as well at the Rec center. They have a tall tower on the building by the road that you are allowed to climb up for a beautiful view. (Step past the gate... it's for little kids to stay out the worker told me). Pics in my review for...

There was a 15 minute video opening that explained the battles of the area and the history. There were nice exhibits showing artifacts of the area.
