I’ve been to a range of many different hotels, and this is probably one of my favorites. It’s not the Ritz Carlton, but it’s clean here and, the best part, quiet. The staff are extremely kind and accommodating, even the guests that come here have a general easy going demeanor. Their breakfast here is clean and well stocked. There’s a bread case with individually wrapped servings of toasts, English muffins, bagels, and actual mini muffins. Each day you get some variety of eggs and a breakfast meat. There’s a pancake machine that makes fresh pancakes with the touch of a button. There’s apples and bananas. A fridge stocked with different % milks and yogurts, butter, cream cheese, and of course, you have your coffee station. The breakfast attendant who just started a few months ago, she is such a hard worker and the sweetest person alive. She does a good job and is really nice to talk to. She’s amazing. Absolutely wonderful. There’s a laundry room with two sets of machines and you can buy detergent and fabric softener at the desk. We’ve done laundry here a few times now and never had any issues. The rooms come with a fridge and microwave which comes in handy when you’re staying for multiple nights. The AC works and tha bathroom has little dove soaps instead of some other cheap hotel generic basic brand. I can’t get over how cute the mini dove bar is. In the main lobby there’s even a little snack corner in case you get hungry and everything is $1-$2 sized so you’re not paying an arm and a leg for stuff. Overall, this hotel is great. It’s fairly priced, the rooms are clean and good, and staff go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. The view outside is nice too, to me anyway. I love how quiet and peaceful it is out here. Def recommend this place if you’re passing through or...
Read moreI was coming back from my business trip and had to spent a night in the nearest hotel. I chose Ramada inn in Strasburg, VA. It's located in the quiet area surrounded by beautiful landscape and near major freeway. After having good breakfast that was included with my stay, I departed for my destination. After driving nearly 2 hours, I realized that I was missing my fanny pack with $800 in it. My heart sunk. I just didn't remember where I left my fanny pack. I decided to call the hotel in desperation. An owner of the hotel with middle eastern accent greeted me at the other end. I asked the man of they found fanny pack in my room by chance, not mentioning money. He said that he will call me back after speaking with the man who was cleaning rooms today. He called me back (and I don't remember his name unfortunately), and stated that they have my fanny pack. He said "I think you are looking for your money, right?" I carefully responded "yes". He replied that they found 800 dollars. I said "yes", that's the amount. Long story short, the owner stated "You don't have to drive 4 hours to get your money", and sent me money back in full amount, stating "We are honest people, and we don't need some ones money which don't belong to us". I was almost in tears to hear this man and that honest worker who was cleaning rooms that day. Being an immigrant it this country my self and working hard for my money, I respect greatly hard working and honest people like the owner of Ramada inn in a small town of Strasburg, VA....
Read moreThe hotel looked promising when we got there and the man that helped us check in was very kind. we got to the room the air was not on and this is July where it was over 90° the room took hours to cool down. When I went to take a shower, the little bottles of shampoo and conditioner and moisturizer were all halfway used. I was not even good enough to get a full bottle! The vent in the bathroom didn’t work so it was so hot and humid in that bathroom that after I took my shower, I was soaking wet from sweat! Sleeping was a bit hard because the air conditioner was so loud I would have loved to have turned it off but unfortunately it was so hot we needed to keep it on. The complementary breakfast was a joke I may have wanted a banana but they were so brown they needed to be thrown out and the room was so hot. There was a thermostat that said it was 77° and it would not let me change the temperature. It was on hold and of course there was no one around to help, when we left that breakfast room to go back upstairs, there was a worker she was sitting and on her phone I didn’t want to bother her so when we got back up packed our bags and was checking out, I mentioned all of this to the front desk and one of the cleaning ladies I think that’s what she was was arguing with me that the breakfast room was not that hot. that’s real professional to argue with the guest. I can promise you I will never go back...
