We stopped in after this came up under a search for thrift stores. Opened an hour later than the search indicated. We were warmly greeted and advised that the fresh chocolate order had just arrived. So far, so good! But the store doesn’t know what it wants to be. From crystals to natural products (note to owners - I’d suggest sticking to brands that aren’t also available at Big Y), CBD to printed socks, a tiny thrift section, fresh fudge, and bizarrely enough a tiny grocery section featuring spaghetti sauce(brand also sold in Big Y). I get that they have to cater to tourists, but this was a very confusing store. What they want to be (is “new age” too antiquated a term?) and have to be to survive are not the same I guess. When they started burning incense(also sold) we left, the smell was overpowering. Super nice staff. Note - entrance is a painted wood door at right of building. Not clearly marked or intuitive. As we were leaving some other folks were also trying(failing lol) to find the entrance. Owners may want to more clearly mark...
Read moreI love this store. Seriously, I could spend HOURS here! They have everything under the sun: so many locally crafted goodies, soaps, candles, tea, clothing, snacks & food items, fresh local eats like bread & fudge, jewelry, home decor… you name it! I have been here a number of times, but my most recent visit just secured that this is probably my favorite local small business store in the area. The owner Gina is so sweet - I forgot something I had purchased (we had been chatting at the register!) and she went out of her way to find me on Facebook to let me know I could come pick it up whenever I had the chance. Talk about incredible customer service. Such an amazing place with something for everyone!...
Read moreMy family and I were in town visiting and using the laundromat and took a walk over to The Thrify Gypsy Store. It was a very cool store so much to look at up down and all around the store. Wow! It’s incredible the amount of items from homemade to cool collectibles. The ladies that run the store are very nice and helpful. Of course the really cool cats that visit customers. I love this store and if you are looking for something unique I’m sure you will find it there. Stop in and check it...
