
This park is located next to Interstate I-10 at the south end of Hazel Street. It has nice play ground equipment for the younger children. Several covered picnic areas; one of which has an older BBQ pit available. The park has an inside gym, more than half a dozen baseball fields, a covered basketball court, some nice walking trails which are mostly shaded by large oak trees, several restrooms, tennis courts....
The biggest down side is the lack of refrigerated drinking water fountains; in fact, only one non-refrigerated water fountain is available at the restrooms, near the soccer fields which are no wheres close to the play ground or picnic areas.

Also my son used to play basketball here in the recreational center.
