A beautiful beach day in Summerland, Ca. ☀️💙🌊 located at Lookout Park. I found some cool sea creatures named Velella Velella. They’re part of the jellyfish 🪼 species and sea anemone. Not harmful to humans, but I still didn’t touch them lol. Such a treat to see 😍 #beach #summerland #lookoutpark #805 #sun #spring #velellavelella #sea #horses #santabarbara #california

This beach has so much potential but unfortunately there is still oil present. The smell is strong as soon as you get to the water. It is dog friendly off leash, but you have to be extremely careful not to let them step on the oil patties. The upper grassy park area is nice. There is also a dog wash station which was cool. The views from this vantage point are amazing. I recommend checking out Loon point further south as the oil seems to clear up there.

Beautiful ❤️ place lots of beach , very clean family friendly restrooms , they even have a dog wash station given it does cost ten ($10.00) dollars to use it's better than the alternative sandy wet dog in your brand new car , other amenities are wheelchair accessible Beach parking entrance playground picnic areas lots of barbecues to use the camp caretake does a really good job A1 keep up the good work !;!!

So we go to all the beaches in Santa Barbara. From Carpinteria all the way to Goleta. The hidden portion of hammonds Beach is our personal favorite for a private day with just my wife and I. But summerland beach is hands down the best beach in all of Santa Barbara. I know it actually isn't in Santa Barbara but it's close enough. The grassy knoll on the top of the ledge the clean bathrooms the grills the beautiful walk with the cliffs. Did I mention the well-kept grass that you have to rub your toes in by the volleyball courts. It truly is the only beach in Santa Barbara...

It's a great Beach. I've been going there for years, and it's nice and secluded, kind of. Very clean Beach, don't tell anyone but you can bring your dogs here, even if they say you can't. It's not really enforced. But also, please don't be the reason we can't have nice things, and make it so that rule is enforced. You can keep walking for a while on this beach, and there's some interesting structures depending on the time of year you go there. A lot of people build huge castles...
