My soon to be brother in law ordered a secret bouquet for my sister the bride. I was coordinating the wedding and both me and brother in law arranged to pick the bouquet up on Saturday for a Sunday wedding as it was Labor Day weekend and they would be closed which was understandable. I wasn’t thrilled about a bouquet being in my fridge for a day but they assured me it would be fine. On the Friday before the wedding I find out they need us to pick it up that day and not Saturday as they would now be closed due to staffing issues and they would just be closed for the next three days for no reason. I called them desperately saying this wasn’t possible as the flowers might deteriorate plus we literally had plans all day with extended family and my sister would definitely find out if we had to pick it up that day; for someone to please meet us at a specific time on Saturday just for the bouquet as we had arranged. Instead of trying to fix the situation, the florist blames the soon to be groom who she called but left no message for. I then got upset which then she responded she wouldn’t tolerate me raising my voice. Any professional who manages events would find this extremely unprofessional from a vendor. So if you want a professional experience, go to OK florist as they actually take care of their clients. Go see Karen as she saved my entire weekend. They only thing blossom shop did right was refund the bouquet. Read moreWhile the flowers that were delivered were beautiful, the customer service was not so great. I called to order an arrangement to be put next to my moms urn at her funeral mass. I had found an arrangement on their website that I liked and called to see if they had a smaller version, but ultimately went with the one on the website. After taking all of my information I was informed there would be a delivery fee. The website says $0 delivery fee so I asked why I was being charged and it was because I called instead of placing the order online. I asked if they could wave it since it was the same exact arrangement online. They said no, that I would have to go on the website to order them. So I did not complete my transaction and was too upset to place the order online. The next day my husband, knowing this was the arrangement I wanted, went online to place the order only to find it said "please contact us to order this arrangement". When my husband called, they checked and said it had been disabled and they waived the delivery fee over the phone. Why on earth was it such an issue to waive the day before when I called?? It's hard enough to make these phone calls and grieve your loved one and then to be met with utter ridiculousness such as this is an unnecessary burden. We were asked several times what we wanted on the card and said nothing as we were ordering them for my moms funeral to be placed next to the urn. Today I wanted to just that for our ladies at work -they are working mothers grands,sisters, and friends -- to say " Have a great day ! " .. and ty - I called The Blossom Shop in Summerville, Lisa answered almost right away - I had googled florist Summerville and already called another that never answered and went down the line. Lisa was not only pleasant she was extremely patient with my numerous special request and very reassuring of the quality bouquets the ladies would receive. Lisa repeated the order back - and even what would be on each card and also where in the dealership each was to be delivered. I was very glad they do their own delivery and they don't outsource this. They were fast and the bouquets were very appreciated and very very beautiful- the pricing was very fair and affordable.
