DO NOT GO HERE. They destroyed my wedding rings. I took them in to be resized; the cost was $396. They came back crooked with much of the engraving gone on the lower half of the band, and the extension was very thin. I gave them back so they could repair the damage they caused. They added some gold back and redid the engraving. I didn't notice until I got home that the diamond had been reset crookedly and the central heart on one side was now lopsided; there were still issues with the band not being even where the extension was added. They had also filed off the brand and all markings on the inside! I called to complain, and they tried to tell me the rings were fine with the brand filed off, that the other issues were there before and I was just now noticing them?!?! I have pictures from before to prove that this was NOT the case! They offered to look at them again, but at this point I couldn't trust them as so much damage had been done. They did not offer a refund. I took them to other jewelers, this time in Ann Arbor, to repair the damage Medawar caused. The assessment was devastating. They said the rings are now so damaged that they are beyond repair. I was advised not to wear them as the diamond is likely to fall out due to the badly done setting, and the band too weak to work on further. I will have to pay to get it reauthenticated now since Medawar filed off all the markings. As the diamond cannot be reset due to the bad soldering and tenuous state of the ring, my only option is to have the rings remade which is going to cost $4,000. My husband and I are teachers. How the hell are we going to get that kind of money?! I can't stop crying. My beautiful...

I went in to have my silver ring sized down. I got it back and wore it for nearly a week. I took it back again to be sized down another half size, which was done free of charge. Upon getting the ring back, I noticed it looked a little off. I showed it to another jeweler, who is making a nesting wedding band to fit this ring, and they were appalled. The band has been stretched incredibly, dangerously thin. The back is wonky and uneven, making a sort of squiggle. I posted a negative review, and Medawar called me, trying to gaslight me into believing that this was the way the ring was supposed to be. As you can see from their response, they blamed me for having to have it resized twice (which is not uncommon to have done at all). He said he never saw the ring leave, blaming others in the store, and that the ultra thinness was part of their process. I told him that if his process is damaging customers jewelry, that it needs to be reevaluated. I was rightfully given my money back, but I now have to have this ring repaired, which will cost twice as much, because of Medawars negligence. It breaks my heart. I would never ever...
Read moreI recently shopped at Medawar Jewelers to purchase Pandora charms for my daughter for Christmas, and while they have a nice selection, I was disappointed with my experience. Despite a promotion being advertised (spend a certain amount and receive a free item), I was never informed about it, even though I was only a few dollars away from qualifying. I would have gladly spent a bit more had I known.
Additionally, when I inquired about the Pandora bow collection, I was told it was completely sold out. However, when I checked Pandora’s official website later, I was able to purchase the pink bow ring I wanted without any issue.
After realizing I had purchased a duplicate charm, I returned to the store to exchange it. Medawar’s policy only allows exchanges or store credit, which is fine, but I left feeling undervalued as a customer. Between being unaware of the promotion and feeling misled about product availability, this experience has made me hesitant to shop here again. Better communication with customers would make a...
