Summit Antique Center — Attraction in Summit

We visited for the first time today, we ventured upstairs first. The first 2 people who were working were polite enough but the gentleman advised us not to buy from the dealer with the initials “hel” Apparently, he doesn’t care for her. What a terrible thing to do! After we started to exit his area he was on the phone FaceTiming with someone and showed him another booth. “Look at the pale green bowls he has, I sell them for $85 he sells them for $245. Nobody should buy from him!” Again how terrible. It may be a co-op but the dealers are mean and nasty about each other. When we went downstairs to get away from him we were met with a very nice lady and older gentleman who both informed us the upstairs was unorganized and overpriced. Their section was where you found good buys. What an awful place! There was a lot of glass , all overpriced and the atmosphere was mean spirited....

Pretty decent size place with lots of stuff to look at. Almost everything is overpriced sadly though. Me and my boyfriend go antique shopping a lot and some things that we have seen in many other antique stores are way overpriced being sold here than any other place we have seen the items. Also, I asked for help from staff twice and the first woman who helped me was very friendly but the gentleman I asked for a price on an old doll seemed very un-talkative and it came across as if he was annoyed to be taking out the item I asked about the price because it was in the back of a case. Cool place and a big store with lots of stuff to look through but way too overpriced...

A favorite antique store! There must be millions of vintage and antique items in this store. It’s even bigger inside than it looks from the outside with many rooms on the main level and upstairs. We love browsing or going on a mission for specific items. You’re sure to find a something that can be loved again here. The dealers are required to be present on a rotating schedule so many are there staffing the rooms and can help with questions. Product selection is everything you’d expect and more!
