I have visited Sumter store as was looking for a printer...Jonathan, my official ambassador for Staples, patiently walked me through each step of the way, with the gentleness you show a child, who has just taken the training wheels off their bicycle. Jonathan invited me to his work station. It was cleaner than my grandmotherâs kitchen and smelled of freshly brewed coffee and chrysanthemums....    Read moreMy husband and I went to Staples for new computer chairs. We received the best customer service. Ernie was very helpful and knowledgeable! Ernie's knowledge helped my husband easily pick out a comfortable gaming chair. Meanwhile, I was playing Goldilocks and the three bears trying to find the right fit. My husband recommended the display massage office chair at the front of the store. Ernie offered to sell the floor model of the massage chair but sadly, after searching with the store manager, the plug couldn't not be located. So Ernie offered to order it for us, he also offered to put together the office chair we purchased for my husband for a very small fee. Ernie also helped us to register our new chairs for their extended warranties. When we returned to pick up the chair, it was raining, the cashier Sara was so sweet and offered us several trash bags to cover the chair with in the truck so that it would not get wet or rub against anything. Then Ernie came out in the rain to help us load and secure the chair. This store has The Winning Team! Customer service like this makes us want to continue shopping here.    Read moreUpdate #2 I was able to deliver documents to meet an application deadline before the close of business hours. There were no stapler near the copiers to staple documentsđ; another customer behind me ask if I was using the other copier (#3) which I mentioned customer ahead of me was having challenges & didn't want to risk it and chose to wait for copier # 1 since #2 was on a "waiting mode". đ±
We must do better for the community & businesses.
Update: 7.28.25 Out of 3 copiers, 2 were available while 1 is updating. I need documents printed before business close at 5 pm to meet an application deadline. There's another customer ahead of me when someone is finished. Currently, another customer is having issues with the copier đ±. Unfortunately, 4 pm is the time I'm finished from work with an 10-15 drive to Staples. Either have more copiers or build another Staples in Sumter or Sumter County. I even ask a staff if I could give my print code to print documents which they are...
