Sheehan Park — Attraction in Sun Prairie

I love this Park it's great. If you want to have a get together and grill some food the grill is right there. Old fashioned just bring the charcoal. There is a wonderful picnic area. Then you can let the kids play on the park and go for a walk in the great trail or ride your bike or walk your dog. Here for the weekend for a softball tournament. Concessions using cash was available during the weekend. The park is huge. Lots of grass & places for kids to run & play on the playground equipment. Sheehan park is spacious. It has a good walking trail. I have seen people from different communities using this park for different sporting activities. It is well maintained throughout the year. Water fountain has not been working for several months and needs to be installed in more places in the park. Overall experience is great, it is right opposite to Library.
