Heritage Park — Attraction in Sunny Isles Beach

We love spending time in Heritage Park. There are park facilities for young children, toddlers and older kids. Slides, a climbing wall, rope course, swings, musical instruments and more. As well there are water fountains that spray water that the kids love to play in. The huge lawn is perfect for kicking around a ball and playing frisbee. The only draw back is the paid parking. Staying in the Ocean Reserve, it was awesome to have this steps away! The playground equipment and "water sprayers" kept the kids busy and everything was well maintained. They even host events around twice a month. The "Summer Splash" is the one that happened while we were there and they had lots of blow-up slides for kids and you could buy burgers and ice cream to benefit charity. Nice playground for children of all ages. The water feature however didn’t seem to be working both times I’ve been out there the last few weeks and there was a slight sewage smell in the area (which might have to do with the water feature not working).
