A Memorable Culinary Adventure at Pizza Bianco: A Gem Beneath the Sunny Isles Beach Hotel
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
My family of 10 stumbled upon Pizza Bianco during my recent visit to Sunny Isles Beach, and I couldn't be happier with the delightful experience that unfolded. Tucked away beneath the Sunny Isles Beach Hotel, this tiny shop holds a world of culinary wonders within its cozy confines. As a humble customer seeking a good meal, I was blown away by the exceptional food and hospitality offered by Pizza Bianco.
Walking into the shop, I was immediately struck by its intimate and inviting atmosphere. The limited seating created an authentic and close-knit ambiance, where fellow patrons chatted amiably and shared the joy of savoring delicious food. It felt like a secret gem, known only to those fortunate enough to stumble upon it.
The owner, Fernando, was the heart and soul of Pizza Bianco. From the moment I stepped through the door, he welcomed me with open arms and a radiant smile. His passion for his craft was infectious, and it was evident that he genuinely cared about every customer's dining experience. Fernando's warm and friendly nature transformed my visit into a truly memorable occasion.
Now, let's talk about the food. Oh boy, the salads, pizzas, and calzones were nothing short of phenomenal. The salads were a refreshing and vibrant start to the meal, bursting with crispness and a medley of flavors. Each bite of the fresh ingredients was a symphony of taste.
The pizzas, with their thin and perfectly baked crusts, were a testament to Pizza Bianco's dedication to quality. Toppings were generously spread across the dough, harmoniously blending to create a palate-pleasing explosion of flavors. Each bite transported me to Italy, where the art of pizza-making is revered.
The calzones were a delightful surprise. The golden-brown crusts revealed a treasure trove of gooey cheese and delectable fillings. Each bite was a heavenly combination of savory goodness, providing a satisfying and comforting experience.
What makes Pizza Bianco truly special is the genuine hospitality and personal touch that Fernando brings to the dining experience. He made me feel like an old friend, engaging in casual conversation and ensuring that I felt right at home. It was as if I had stumbled upon a neighborhood pizzeria where the owner knew everyone by name.
Pizza Bianco in Sunny Isles Beach is an extraordinary culinary find that exceeded all my expectations. From the cozy and intimate setting to the exceptional salads, pizzas, and calzones, every aspect of my visit was a testament to the passion and dedication of Fernando. If you're looking for a memorable and genuine dining experience, Pizza Bianco is the place to be. Prepare to be treated to a delightful journey of flavors, where warmth and hospitality come together to create something...

Little hole in the wall joint in what is probably the least prestigious hotel Ramada on Miami Beach, albeit the oldest perhaps. Positioned in the basement, a few doors down from the hotel guest laundry depot and a few other random shops, one like myself could easily walk by and not notice the place, or not enough to stop and try. At first glance this couldn't possibly be a pizza establishment worthy of stopping for, but if that's the case, then why the line? Why else would the very globular tourist in crocs and a death metal tank top yell at you as you pass by, to stop for "the worlds greatest slice of pizza." Am I being punked?
I was not.
As a tourist mid way through his vacation, I had laundry to do, so I ignored the large fellow and his pleas and continued on my way down the hall. As I went about my business, I thought about what I had seen as I walked passed.. a hole in the wall authentic Italian pizzeria in the basement of a hotel, probably BARELY passing health codes, with a large patron enthused enough to yell at me to stop?
How could I not?
So I did. I had a calzone which was actually prepared correctly to my surprise, and to my even greater surprise and ultimate pleasure, from first bite to my licking of the cardboard container I was in genuine ecstasy. It tasted so good, that I actually felt regret every time I swallowed because I knew less was waiting for me to finish.
I finished the whole calzone in probably 3 minutes flat. For reference, it's about a foot in length and probably a close to two pounds in weight. I'd share a picture, but I never write reviews, and could not have foreseen myself writing this before exiting the trance of gobbling this delightful dish down.
Thank you Pizza Bianco, you were the food highlight of my Miami trip,...
Read moreI have been coming to Pizza Bianco since I was 5 years old- and it has always been THE BEST. It has stayed consistently delicious for the almost three decades that I’ve been going there. I live far away, so I only get a few pizzas each year, but if I lived nearby I’d eat there multiple times per week! Fernando, the owner, puts so much love and passion into what he does. He cares about his customers, and always goes out of his way to make them happy. His family has always been involved in the business, and they make you feel like family, too. The New York style pizza they make fresh to order is the best I’ve ever had. The white pizza is my favorite, and the garlic knots are to die for! Not to mention the delicious, fresh made espresso, which is a huge step up from other coffee available nearby. I also really like their veggie calzones and Stromboli. I’ve never had a menu item I didn’t like. If you’re living or staying in Sunny Isles, I can’t recommend Pizza...
