Il Ponte Vecchio Pizzeria — Restaurant in Sunny Isles Beach

I felt this restaurant offered very poor value, and others in my party of 8 said the same thing. We believed the pizza crusts were the frozen kind. They put on enough tomato sauce, and they topped the more basic ingredients with actual tomato slices and squares of soft white cheese. But the crust was nevertheless soft and obviously not as one would expect of a pizza restaurant but rather of a frozen pizza. At the same time, we didn't see anybody coming for take out orders, and there were only 2 customers in the store who quickly left when we were seated. We were seated outside; there's not room inside for a group this large. We were charged an automatically added 18% tip and they even added a large charge if we didn't pay cash, so we paid cash. The waiter was certainly the manager and possibly the owner, and he was surly toward us on occasion which mystified us. Nobody in my group liked the pizza and we had ordered 3 or 4. We also order separate items including one that's basically garlic bread puffs which was deemed by all in my group as awful. I got the feeling we were correctly seen as tourists and that locals would be unlikely...

Honestly there’s not much I can say that is good about this place .The service was rush rush and to get us out. (There was only one other table there-not like it was closing time or busy) Waitress also never stopped by the table to ask how we were doing or how the food was .The food we had ordered was horrid, the penne vodka with house sauce was more like the jar of vodka sauce that was emptied and filled it with water to get what ever sauce left out.The pasta was just a swampy mess, it was over cooked and soggy with disgusting chicken. The spaghetti and meatballs we ordered were no better either. The meatballs were frozen in the middle, not fresh, just precooked and warmed up .The sauce was water with little chunks of tomato in it, and for the amount of time it took to prepare, it should’ve been perfect . I really am not satisfied and would never go back . At the end i never got a thank you, nothing, even though i paid for my full meal. Disgusting service and even more disgusting food. Avoid this place...

Last night in Miami and we stumbled upon this cute Italian restaurant. We were immediately greeted by our server and she was able to get us seated asap.

We started with the spicy wings- they were perfect. Crispy and tossed in the right amount of sauce. They were gone within the matter of 5 mins.

As for our entrees, we ordered the lasagna and half cheese half roni pizza. The pizza was beautiful (no picture because we dug in the second it was placed on the table). Crust is fresh and was cooked perfectly, had a crunch to it which is what I look for within the first bite. Very generous with the cheese in the pizza. My 3 year old (who is the pickiest eater known to man) ate 2 slices. She kept saying “mama, pizza is so good”. I’m very happy that she was able to eat and enjoy as much as we did. For dessert, we got flan and the strawberry with cream. My mom also enjoyed a double espresso. Along with the rest of our meal, they were delicious and a great ending to...
