Tahiti Beach — Restaurant in Sunny Isles Beach

My friends and I came here one day, and we were extremely disappointed. The food was ok, and all but one of my friends can agree on that. The one friend that didn't like what he ordered kindly and respectfully asked for the meal to be sent back, and replaced as anyone would in any restaurant. The waiter kindly told us he doesn't think that he can do that. He also added that he has never heard of a restaurant in which the customer sent back the food just because the customer didn't like it (which was most likely a blatant lie.) That wasn't the biggest problem, though. The waiter later called the owner to our table. The owner was immediately very rude and disrespectful. He started off by calling our group crazy and immature. He kept on raising his voice every time he spoke, and he was eventually patting and putting his hand on my friend's shoulder. (He's kind of germaphobic) In the end, we ended up not paying for that dish, but the damage had already been dealt. Additionally, as we were leaving, we heard the owner mocking, imitating, and making jokes about us to his friends. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had at...

We found this little place over looking the ocean and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Once we found it, it takes some time and there are no real signs, we were greeted by two very cheerful and welcoming gentleman. We got the shrimp in garlic cream sauce for an appetizer and OMG it was the best ever. We used the sauce as a dip with bread and it was over the moon. My husband got the cheese ravioli with shrimp and garlic sauce and I got the fish special. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate and while quaint and quiet it was exactly what we were looking for. A suggestion on parking, park in the lot across from the beach access under the highway. Walk straight across and go down the beach access road. This place honestly MADE our trip here wonderful. We went to eat here twice, same waiter named Kevin. He recommended wonderful, delicious options! He was kind, attentive, wanted to know about us. Like I said, it was really special for our family. And reasonably priced! My kids LOOOOVED the kids menu pasta with marinara, it really is delicious and perfect for kiddos. Branzino 10/10. Blackened Mahi mahi 10/10. Comes with a delicious side of veggies grilled to perfection in herbs de Provence. We can’t say enough about this place. We drank, we laughed, we ate to our hearts...
