As a basic WB I really wanted to like your store. I walk in feeling happy and relaxed to get a break from mom duties. I just want to sniff a candle or buy something small for myself or a friend. Each time I leave have this anxiety from being watched like a criminal. Your staffs staring and eye rolling at my casual attire leaves me wondering why I do this to myself. I always say I won’t be back, but I prefer shopping local because of the environmental impact, friendly locals and easy exchanges. However, I bought a 50$ pair of PJ shorts for my foster child on Christmas. I had the receipt, but she had already removed the tiny paper tag after realizing they were too big. Went to get some pretzels they have with some licorice. It's an Amish product and good. But they didn't have the one we normally get, and I picked up the wrong one. They were stale and old. So we went back, and the young lady working told me they don't give refunds on open food products. I was upset and acted like a up set customer who should have accepted that. I did open the package. But, I could tell they were bad. So it made me be an upset idiot. Also, their card reader was down, and they explained they'd would call and tell me when the transaction went through. Well, she called and removed the pretzels from my bill. I'm sorry for being a jerk. It's not the lady's working fault. It's just a bad batch. Visited Mia’s for the first time this spring while vacationing in Topsail; what a great experience! There are SO many neat things to look at, truly there is something for everyone! Great gifts to bring home (or keep for yourself), bags, clothes, jewelry, taffy, fudge (even gluten free options), novelty items and so much more. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Purchased a Spartina tote while there that sadly had an issue with the handle 2 months later. While a direct conversation with Spartina was not helpful in resolving my issue, literally one message to Sandi and she was on the ball and fixing the issue! Such great customer service!
