Blue North Arts LLC — Attraction in Suttons Bay Township

Had the same experience as a previous reviewer. The lady running this store is completely rude, unwelcoming, and offensive. My child was never not supervised and only picked up a magnet that isn’t even breakable after I told her to look at it because we were going to purchase it. My daughter and I have never been treated so poorly it was truly shocking. Was told we weren’t allowed to touch anything and that the lady shouldn’t even have to be bothered telling us this because there is a sign. Also I don’t find it appropriate to address my young child directly when I am standing right next to her. The local artist’s art in this store is so beautiful and I have made previous purchases here. Would suggest that these artists find a new home for their work so that it can actually be purchased and enjoyed by people. Only enter this store if you want to be greeted by an attack dog of a woman. Stay away at all costs.

Came here for the first time a month or so ago and absolutely adored it. And when I was in the area again, I made sure to go back. There's various art from all different kinds of local and independent artists. I could spend hours in here just admiring the beautiful designs and creations!

The owner clearly cares a lot about art and cherishes the items she sells. I was shocked upon reading other reviews because both times I went she was extremely pleasant and friendly. Even when I went the first time and had a coffee, when I saw the sign about no drinks, she was very friendly in pointing out the little shelves provided to set your drink while you look around. I think that's totally reasonable for an art store! Especially one with items from local artists who have put a lot of thought, time, and effort into the things...

Very unfortunate experience.

We left very quickly after a very rude comment to my five year old, that was unacceptable and could have been “handled” differently.
