What can I say but Poppy Things is such a gem in downtown SB. I visit every chance I get, and I shop online when I canât. (Itâs dangerously easy to order all the things!) Their packaging is so delightful. I buy so many unique gifts here, and oh, the home decor! Pillows and throws and candlesâ think HomeGoods but high quality and ethically sourced! Every time I stop in, (about 4x per year,) thereâs completely new inventory except for a few favesâ particularly the soy candles. So fragrant and long-lasting. And everyone is so friendly and helpful. Alsoâ the tea towels. You need a set. Your mom needs a set. Your second cousin needs a set. Theyâre the perfect giftâ cute and fun and oh so handy. This wonderfully curated store has something for everyone: candles for mom, hats for dad, the cutest little onesies for your niece or nephew! All at varying price points so you can stay on budget.
What I love most about the items here are the thought that goes into them. Most are eco-conscious: sustainable, renewable, locally sourced, fair trade, or ethically made. No fast fashion or cheap goods here! Only the highest quality with the planet in mind, so you can spend in good conscience.
Last thing: I hope that pride flag flies forever! This is clearly a safe space for everyone and I love supporting businesses that champion acceptance and love. Thanks Chelsey and Scott for creating such a warm & inviting store for your community! Can't wait to come back over and...

Everything is just so beautiful and well-curated that I have to fight the urge to buy everything. I know they host all kinds of fun workshops and classes, too, although I haven't been to any yet.
And Chelsey is just the best. She's always so friendly and I can tell she truly cares about the people in the community as well as the products she carries. I highly recommend you go check out the shop if you're in...
