What can I say but Poppy Things is such a gem in downtown SB. I visit every chance I get, and I shop online when I can’t. (It’s dangerously easy to order all the things!) Their packaging is so delightful. I buy so many unique gifts here, and oh, the home decor! Pillows and throws and candles— think HomeGoods but high quality and ethically sourced! Every time I stop in, (about 4x per year,) there’s completely new inventory except for a few faves— particularly the soy candles. So fragrant and long-lasting. And everyone is so friendly and helpful. Also— the tea towels. You need a set. Your mom needs a set. Your second cousin needs a set. They’re the perfect gift— cute and fun and oh so handy. I love this shop! Poppy Things has such a great selection of goods and gifts, most of which are from other small indie businesses and even Michigan makers. Everything is just so beautiful and well-curated that I have to fight the urge to buy everything. I know they host all kinds of fun workshops and classes, too, although I haven't been to any yet.
