We had the most amazing girl's weekend at the Harbor House at Suttons Bay. The home is beautiful and so well thought out from design and functional perspectives. When you catch your breath from seeing the view for the first time, you immediately settle into the tranquil mood of the blue calming waters that are viewable ftom almost all rooms. We had a special event with wine tasting and charcuterie and salsa lessons the following night. Late nights up laughing, dancing, and singing did not even bother the on-site hosts. Julie and Lee are the most kind, genuine, and thoughtful hosts one could ever hope to have. What a memorable weekend! I missed it the moment I left. The Harbor House has room to sleep 14 comfortably and gorgeous private bathrooms. They have separate rooms in three of the 4 themed suites with the coolest twin size couch trundle beds that are insanely comfortable. We didn't get to play in the water, but the upper deck offers amazing views, and there is a hot tub on the lower deck. The beach is a few steps away, and the town with great dining options is two blocks away. It is no surprise the newly renovated Harbor House books up even in the off-season. Please feel free to DM if you go on a family trip there if you need a "crazy aunt type" to fill a last-minute spot to make your vacation complete. I am more than happy to help. 😉😂🤣😂

Wow. I might be a writer but I'm at a loss for words for how wonderful it was staying at Suttons Bay Harbor House. Walking out onto the balcony every morning, coffee in hand, watching the sun rise over the bay. Sitting on the dock in the evening, glass of wine in hand, enjoying the quiet at the end of the day. Being able to walk the two blocks to the lovely, quintissential lakeside village of Suttons Bay for restaurants and shops. And then, of course, driving around the peninsula for wineries, stunning Great Lakes vistas, and the lighthouse at Leelanau State Park. This is a perfect location for exploring all of that. And best of all are the warm reception by hosts Julie and Lee, spotlessly clean and updated accommodations, and continental breakfast to top it off. I will be back. They might have a hard time making me leave.

Sooooooooo. My kids and I decided we wanted to go on a family stay cation away from home. But close. We live in tc. This was the perfect retreat for us! From being greeted and treat like family by Lee and Julie to the hot tub on the lake it was an absolutely amazing experience! One suite has a jacuzzi. One has a fireplace. They all have huge oversized couches that are so comfy and ughh. The whole experience was awesome! The hosts gave us local tips for shopping and all of that as well! Breakfast was served piping hot and was absolutely amazing fresh fruits, tea, coffee a kuerig in every room and the best view of suttons bay! It was an amazing bonding experience for us. I can't even say enough about how much I recommend this as the place to stay if you want to visit Leelanau County! You won't regret it!

What a wonderful B&B!! My sisters and I stayed for a few days and we absolutely loved it! We each had our own room. I stayed in the lovely Lavender Room. The bed was very comfy, nice big bathroom with a huge shower and a jacuzzi tub (which I sadly didn't have time to use!), and access to the very long shared deck with a gorgeous view of the bay. The outdoor patio area is very cozy and we had a nice private sandy beach all to ourselves for rock hunting. It was very hot and humid while we were there, so we didn't get much time on the patio, but the time we did spend was relaxing. There is a nice common area with a big tv and sitting area with coffee, a fridge, and other amenities. We used this every day! Breakfast every morning was fresh fruit and a nice pastry. When I mentioned I was gluten free, Julie graciously made delicious gluten free muffins the next morning! A very short walk to downtown Sutton's Bay (2 minutes!), and the perfect location to explore local wineries. Only a 15 minute drive to Traverse City. We will...
