Since my husband and I first started dating and moved in together we’ve been using this company. Over the years we’ve bought 5 major furniture appliances here.. it’s been amazing and we’ve loved all of it.. everyone’s very friendly over all a great experience when you walk in! Then today.. we needed a new couch and we found one we really liked... got everything settled couch loaded into our truck and went on our way.. after getting home we measured everything and quickly learned before even removing the couch from our truck it wasn’t going to fit through our front door.. after contemplating how we could fit it we were looking at the couch.. the back of the couch had a huge chunk of metal sticking out of it! We called and the guy said we could bring it back getting something else real fast.. mind you we never removed the couch from our truck nothing.. we get there and the refuse to take the couch and love seat back claiming that we damaged it and that we removed it because it wasn’t in the same way they said they put it in.. after getting attitude from the warehouse manager who is accusing us of lying I completely flipped out and demanded to see the camera footage because we never removed the couch and the plastic wrap was already ripped when we got it.. they took a picture of the footage (image was blurry) and kept swiping through the photos real fast so we couldn’t actually get a good look.. finally the store manager steps in and we demand to see the real footage.. low and behold the couch and love seat are intact in there the same way they put it in because again we never touched it and there were rips in the plastic you can see it clear as day but they still refused to admit it... we had photo proof of the hunk of metal as well.. after arguing and them refusing to take it back they finally said if we gave them 40 extra dollars we could switch out the couch.. we found a new couch and completely inspected it before they loaded it.. but they didn’t even load it into our truck my father and husband had to do it themselves while the warehouse workers were acting a fool in the back and giving us dirty looks.. Id like to say I’m coming back for future purchases as since I’ve been with them for years and all my major furniture is through here but I will NEVER step foot in this store EVER again.. ridiculous that you can accuse me of lying when we’ve been purchasing with you for YEARS and try and not take the couch and love seat back over ripped PLASTIC WRAP...

My experience with this place.I had ordered the below furniture and paid $150 for delivery on February 1st. I have two possible entries into my apartment. When the delivery guys arrived I had my sister there to receive my furniture. The guys tried to take it up my back steps and couldn't get the longer piece in. So they are said they tried my front entrance as well. That is not true. My sister advised they did not try the front entrance. She said they looked at it and said it wouldn't fit. The front entrance is a little taller than the back one was. So there is a possibility it would of fit. The guys are saying they tried to take it in both entrances. So I didn't get any of my furniture I to my apartment. I had no furniture so when I got all my stuff moved in I had to run down to see about furniture. We had took measurements of both entrances to see if we could get the longer piece in. It would of been a tight fit. After we were standing there contemplating weather to attempt it or not the sales lady came over and advised of another option for me. She then told me that I could order another one of the smaller pieces instead of taking the bigger piece. So I decided to do that. I then had to run over to Cameron St to pick up the two pieces that should of been delivered already. So since I was getting a smaller piece of furniture I thought it would of been cheaper. The sales lady said no i already got it on sale. Well that is not the case. I found it on FB marketplace for the $1099 price. So I'm still confused as why it was not cheaper and why I did not get any of my delivery fee back. The only good thing about this company is your prices on your furniture other than that your customer services sucks big time. I had an awesome experience at Furniture and Discount Store on May 17.2016. From the moment I walked in the store i was acknowledged with a warm welcome. The customer service from the sales person to the check out clerk was courteous. They were very patient while I decided what I wanted, explained the warranty options in detail. Explained what to expect with the delivery. The discounts are great so why don't you come over and Join the Kings Court where your actually treated like royalty. My initial experience with the store was great but once it was time for delivery the customer service is awful. I will never deal with the store again its not worth the aggravation. The delivery charge does not get furniture put together so its as good as ordering off line. As a single woman what am I supposed to do about putting a dinette set together. That information should have been provided at the first visit not when the furniture is delivered. My daughter got her furniture delivered out front of her house because the delivery guys said it wouldn't fit. I had to leave work for my daughter to get furniture up steps and into her apartment that these experienced guys just could not get into her apartment. Call the store and they stand by the fact that the delivery people said it wouldn't fit. No customer service there. There is so much to complain about. I received my dinette set with display model chairs and was told they couldn't be ordered. Really I'm not paying for used chairs at all. Please make sure that you get the warranty on anything you purpose. My other daughter bought furniture in Feb. well the bottom is coming off and the springs are popping out.
