First visit today7/21. Absolutely delicious Banh Mi!! We had the S6 and it was divine!! Beautiful place. Friendly. Great pricing. Also had 2 milk teas with boba. Fantastic. We will be back again and again!!!
Update 7/23/21- returned today for second visit. Just as wonderful. Had the S1 and S2. Got 2 milk teas with boba and a strawberry smoothie with boba. Everything was again excellent! I can’t recommend this place enough. Stop by- you will not be disappointed! We should have taken photos but we just ate too quick to care.
Update 7/30/21- I can’t stress enough how much you SHOULD VISIT this place. Order a bunch of things! Be adventurous. Get a Banh Mi (sandwich) or 2 for sure! Get a smoothie. Get the chicken rice. Read moreVery cute sandwich and boba tea shop with super friendly staff! Picked up a quick lunch while driving through the area for work and was pleasantly surprised.
Substituting for almond milk in their matcha latte with boba and then removing butter and mayo from the Banh Mi Chay, I had a delicious vegan lunch! While I typically raise an eyebrow at places where I have to remove ingredients to make a meal, the flavors were spot on traditional Viet and reminds me of the NYC shops I used to frequent.
While I may not be swinging through here again for work anytime too soon, I definitely encourage others (especially vegans in the area) to try them out! There are very few vegan friendly establishments around Harrisburg from what I’ve found - side dishes, undressed salads and playing the ingredient omission game doesn’t count.
It would be great if they started carrying vegan butter and mayo on site - tiny changes for big impact to those who are looking for plant-based options....
Read moreWe were looking for a place that serves douhua, and stumbled across this place. Their Special BonBon Tofu with Boba was exactly it. The douhua was soft, smooth (not at all chalky)! They were generous with the syrup, which was ginger-infused, and the boba was a delightful addition that I’ve never before tried with traditional douhua. The boba was chewy but pillowy and soft.
We also ordered fresh spring rolls, which they made a vegetarian version upon request. These were also delicious, stuffed with radish, rice noodles, fried tofu, and Napa cabbage, and came with a creamy peanut dip.
Since everything was great so far, we ordered two more douhua to go, and we also ordered two Flaming Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Unfortunately the service was a little slow… maybe because of a new worker? However the drinks were really delicious — not too sweet, and the boba remained pillowy even after 45-60 minutes. They also came topped with a generous serving of sea salt cream.
