I found the Five Senses Gardens while researching for a visit to Harrisburg on Google Maps. Thank you Google Maps, I would be lost in the world without you. I visited the gardens for the first time on Sunday October 21 2018. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but it was partly sunny and I had a wonderful time exploring with my cameras. I was impressed that the crossing from the parking lot to the park and trail is being upgraded. I posted pictures of this. There is an island in the middle of the street for people crossing to the park. It looks like the crossing will have a flashing light. It will be fun to see the improvements when I visit next year. The park could be used as a rest stop for travelers on the Greenbelt. Unfortunately there are no facilities in the park. The sound of Spring Creek stimulated the hearing sense which is very relaxing. They probably could have addressed us a little nicer if there were issues with where we were walking because we’re all grown adults and weren’t doing anything wrong. Plus there weren’t any signs. Then to make it more awkward, as if it wasn’t awkward enough already, they basically watched us until we left like we were children. It is a pretty little place so that’s why I gave it two stars. Sort of unfortunate to be treated that way when the newly weds were just trying to get...
