Legends Barber Shop — Attraction in Tacoma

I told the barber to leave the top alone. Front of my hair was overcut by the barber before he lined it. It wasn't obvious till my hair was picked out at home. The back of my haircut wasn't blended well on the fade. My haircut felt rushed. For the first time ever, I'm gonna have to wear hats now till my hair grows back a bit. $35 gone to waste.😪

It's crazy nearly everytime I go here they forget my instructions and I leave with a haircut I wasn't looking for. The only reasons I continue going is because it's really close and I genuinely want to like this barbershop but they let me down. I've been going here since DJ Tabers moved away. In the beginning the haircuts were cool but since 2019 the haircuts here have been either messed up or just not what I asked for. I highly recommend bringing a picture of what you want and showing them it during the haircut again.

I have only ever gotten my hair braided here. My stylist, Sydnee, has a chair here and she is fire. I have been there probably 4 times now and Its to a point that she is so good, I have her free reigns to do whatever creative design she wants with my hair. He is a super dope person as well and we can converse about any subject. Its also nice because this is my first time having long hair and having braids that the few hours feels like moments going by with all of our conversation. I took my wife to Legends following Brain surgery and Loss of hair due to radiation treatment. Talked with Cotton about my concerns and he assured me that all would be good. He introduced himself to my wife and took the time to listen and cleaned up her head in a gentle and compassionate way. It is not a small thing to endure Cancer nor is it a small thing for a woman to lose her hair from cancer treatment. It was Huge to us the way he treated us and the care he took in giving my wife a cut. He did not charge and even thanked us for coming to him.
