We've been here multiple times, it's our favorite place to stop after visiting the zoo especially with family/friends in from out of town. We started coming before we had our daughter, while I was pregnant with her, and it was the first restaurant she visited after she was born. The service in all those different visits was amazing. Today we came in with a group of friends, all with their own kids and felt more than welcomed with our chaotic crowd of toddlers and infants. We never felt rushed and were checked up on often even in the midst of multiple meltdowns from the little ones. Having the 21 and up section also means that other patrons can enjoy their time watching sports without being bombarded by the family groups that come in. There are a lot of restaurants that don't allow minors so it's so wonderful having a place that serves delicious pub food available to us with little ones. All the servers are always so nice and make us feel welcome and taken care of. It's a local spot we know we'll be going to for...

All their prices were reasonable, led than I expected for sure. My hubby got the French dip with extra meat (he decided he didn't need the extra meat next time!) His au jus sauce was house made and perfect - not too salty, but plenty flavorful. And he absolutely loved his hand cut fries. Overall, we...

Let me propose sitting on the deck at Cole's sipping a bramble and watching all the folks coming and going to who knows where. They have a single row of stools along the wrought iron fencing looking out to infinity...or at least north Tacoma with a great peek at the sound. The speakers are nicely balanced between loud enough that you can hear the music and can still hear the conversation. Practically perfect if you were going so far as to give a Mary Poppins rating...
Of course if you prefer indoors, they got that too. But it's sunny right now so why not venture out and sit a while :)
And just as the last delicious sip of bramble slides down my gullet, it's time to go. This place is definitely worth a stop and a second and a third, but alas it is time to move along and continue on this journey...
