Sunday Sept 21, 2025, I attended the NSU Ladies Soccer Game against Missouri with my daughter, son-in-law, and 2 granddaughters (who both play soccer). It was a great game and we sat in the bleachers on edge the whole time - not over the game but about the dogs allowed in and on the bleachers. I have only this one disappointment, that is: spectators were allowed to bring in their "pet dogs" and were also allowed to sit in the bleachers with their "pet dogs". I have nothing against pets of any kind, but my youngest granddaughter is highly allergic to dogs and suffers from eczema and pet allergies. When the family with a "poodle-breed" proceed to sit next to her, we told them about my granddaughter's conditions. My granddaughter immediately became anxious & had to move away. The other dog (black lab of sort) was just a few people away from her on the other side and barked throughout the game. My question is, does NSU have a policy about pets at events and in the public seating areas? It was a challenge for my granddaughter to enjoy the game from the stands and eventually had to move to the ground area where there were no "pets". I understand that a service dog is an exception, but these were not service animals. The lady sitting next to us with the poodle-type dog, kept saying he was hypoallergenic, which means nothing to our family. My hope is that NSU will more closely monitor animals at public events, and possible post notices about which animals are allowed and where the animals can/cannot be...

She ran away 3 times because the teachers told her they would cut her tongue out if she spoke Cherokee... I graduated in 1991 from the School of Social Work. The campus experience was quaint and spiritual... I visited today 6.12.24 and cried as I sat in front of Seminary Hall. Not sure why. I wasn't happy or sad... none the less it was a blessed visit. My grandson wants to attend NSU but they don't have a nursing program on campus...only online!🧐 I want to find my grandma's name listed...
Read moreReally terrible experience with the staff. An hour late to their own meetings. Scrolling on the phone while I talk (about how my father died when I was 19). I took my time and money elsewhere, and I suggest you do as well. These guys have their noses in the sky and big heads. I promise, you can do better. I got my Bachelor's and moved forward, despite how I was treated at this institution, another put me in a leadership society, opening me up to notable alumni and scholarships. If you are grown, have children, and work this is absolutely not for you. This is for children with financial aid and athletic...
