The bar staff was hardly ever present.
Food either took forever to come out or just never came out, the salad was just sadness and disappointment slathered in a heaping glob of ranch.
There was a pepperoni pizza ordered, it tasted overly oily, and as the same as those square 1$ freezer pizzas. The dough was chewy and not soft at all.
It was over an hour that we ordered and got no food; Tables were served 1 person at a time, in whatever order the cook decided. Our table got 1 item, then 2 items to another table, then 1 item to a 3rd table.
First one guy at the bar just left because it was taking too long, then a group next to us at the bar left due to it being too long; Eventually we had to just cancel and leave as well.
The lady working the tables was nice enough, seemed frustrated with her situation and I say she should move on to another company.
I hate to give a low review, I truly do but the owners really needs to rethink who is cooking their food and running the place, or are the owners and upper management just absent?
I don't recommend going here...
Read moreWell first of all, I wish I'd taken a photo of the grilled chicken salad I was served. The chicken was grilled - maybe the day before it was served to me. It was very dry. So dry the edges were almost like jerky. The bacon on the salad was ok. Overcooked a bit, but not the worst I've had. Besides being a pretty small amount of greens spread on a large plate, the salad was also lacklustre and uncreative. The Bleu cheese dressing was very very good though.
This is the second time I've visited The Grill for lunch. The first time I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. The ratio of chicken to bread was a little lacking but it was juicy and dressed well. Good flavor overall. The fries were ok. Standard.
This place is never my first choice for lunch because it's the kind of food people rave over when they are drunk or drinking I guess. I've only been there two times to satisfy a group's...
Read moreThis place was so good. I dont even know where to start. There were so many things that looked good that I had a hard time choosing what to order but I wasn't rushed. We got the ranch cheese curds appetizer and when I say these things were magical, I'm not exaggerating. The breading was sturdy enough to hold in the cheese but also soft enough to be eaten by 2 people without their teeth. The ranch was there but not over powering. A similar situation with the fries. They were thick cut enough that even with a crispy texture we were able to bite through them. My chicken club wrap was a little more difficult to eat but that is my fault for ordering bacon. My husband said his Italian fries were delicious. And we got our food so quickly. We come up here to Talequah a lot, we'll definitely add this place into the frequent stop list. And dont get me started on the price for 2 adults we spent...
