Wonderful place for a walk in the shade or in the sun. PROs: TRAILS: The paths are clearly marked, but my favorite is the loop. It's not too long, and it's not shaded, but it's all level. I've gone into the woods off the loop before, but that's a very long walk. If you start off on the loop and turn to your left, you will soon pass a pasture with a few old graves. The pasture is a cool place to stroll on a hot day. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS: There's a lot of wild flowers that are just beautiful. SEATs: There are plenty of picnic tables covered and in the sun. There are also benches along the loop walk. CONs: TOILETs: There are bathrooms, and they are well stocked, but they smell. Perhaps someday the park system will install toilets that are more than a hole in the ground and ventilation. CROSS WALK: As you're driving in or out, there is a crosswalk where people can cross the road from the woods. Just be careful not to run them over.
