I am unfortunately, not from Taryn, and if I were, I would quickly move because of the unethical services provided by this company. I just left the parent electric company where I visited with my elderly and disabled friend whose power was just cut off in the middle of the coldest time of January because she was not even 30 days late on her January power bill, and she had over half of it in cash to pay that day and was going to pay the rest in three days. Now this elderly resident of the city of Tarrant, who is disabled is sitting alone in her home with no electricity, and she had to throw all of her food Outside to rot. The receptionist in the parent electric company was very rude and very unhelpful, and she refused to let her customer speak to anybody that is a supervisor, and she additionally refused to give the customer any type of assistance whatsoever in accordance with their policy guidelines to find a solution for her health, safety, and well-being that you guys compromised

Not only are they WAY more expensive than any other electric company I’ve used in the past, they absolutely genuinely DO NOT CARE about the residents of Tarrant. When you call you will almost always get rerouted to their overflow number (where no one can answer any questions). They only allow TWO special payment arrangements PER YEAR and will NOT tell you this until AFTER you’ve used those two arrangements. Late fees are added to the bill after the 5th AND onto your NEXT BILL. Also if you pay online the day before or on their disconnect date (15th of each month), you HAVE to call them otherwise your power might be disconnected and a reconnect fee must be paid before they will allow YOU to turn your power back on, even though THEY are the ones who FAILED to notice that a payment...
