Bama Hotdogs — Restaurant in Tarrant

I might have come in on a bad day, but I have never in my life been unable to finish my food before because it tasted so bad. I'm all about the sunk cost fallacy and will clear my plate even if I have to hold myself together, but I started getting a stomach ache that was getting worse with every bite.

I ordered the usual fare - a hotdog combo with fries. The fries were bland, very greasy, and seasoned in a way that made me gag. The dogs were cold, chewy (but not in a good way), and the sauce for them left something to strive for. They almost felt like they were made with Vienna sausages. The sweet tea was alright, this is the South after all.

Really a great spot and I really enjoy the food, but the customer service has been kinda suckey lately. This is the second week in a row that I've tried to call in an order and I've been left in hold for more than five minutes. I understand that I'm not physically there to place an order, but I feel like I'm just as important as anyone standing in front of the person taking the orders. I listened as several orders were taken ahead of me and even when those orders were done being taken, I was still left in hold until I finally decided to hang up. You know how in every town there's that one little place that only locals know about? And you find out why all the locals know about it? Well that's Bama Hot Dogs because this place it straight fire! I've had several different things from their menu and they not only don't let me down, they raise the bar! The young ladies are sweet and personable and always willing to take care of any specifics so you can enjoy what you get.
