Bennion Park — Attraction in Taylorsville

Swings, slides, rocking springs, spinning stool, climbing choices, monkey bars. One pavilion to the east. Several benches. Great variety for all ages. It's rated ages 5-12, but my 3 and 4 yr olds did just fine. Swings are six saddle swings, one bucket, and one abilities swing. Two fun slides, the taller of which is accessible only by climbing, not stairs. No parking lot, just the curb to the north, and no restrooms that I could see. Big grassy bowl field to the south, with a steep hill I can see is used for sledding. Not much shade/cover, and wood chips for base. This is a cute park with a nice playground. It is aimed at kids 5 and up but my littles still made use of a lot of it. They have two covered tables and a grill as well as benches around the park. No bathrooms or drinking fountains. Parking is all in the road. We tried to go for a walk in the grass, but it was very marshy so we turned back. Super cute little park. They have swings and slides (shade over the slides so good on a hot day) a pavillion and bouncy toys with plenty of seating. We had a blast with my 2.5 year old toddler.
