Brown Bag Breakfast Co. — Restaurant in Taylorsville

Im so excited to write this review. I live close by this place, but I would go out of my way to have one of their breakfast sandos. I ordered a ham sando (their flagship offering, which I always go for on a first try) and a hash brown. This will sound nerdy, but I feel you can always accurately critique a place based on how it does a potato. Both were amazing. The hash brown was the perfect textures and tasted like a delicious perfectly-salted potato (instead of tasting like whatever oil it was cooked in, like you get with fast food). The sandwich. The sandwich had an amazing sauce, the perfect balance of ham and egg and cheese and sauce. The bread was quality. And from what I could overhear from inside my car, the work environment was good. The manager(/owner?) was helpfully coaching the team in a positive manner.

I have been wanting to try this place for a couple weeks now and finally got the chance. This being pickup or drive through only, made it tougher to schedule. Got greeted with one of the biggest smiles this side of the border, and it was welcoming. Got our order in, paid and went to the nezt window. From the cars starting to pile up behind me, I wish I could of chatted more. We got the food quickly with another welcoming smile and off we went to find a place to eat. I stopped by Brown Bag Breakfast Company this morning and wow, what a gem! I had a breakfast sandwich with sausage, American cheese, and a perfectly crispy hash brown, and it was honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. The coffee was delicious too, smooth, rich, and exactly what I needed to start my day.

The vibe of the place is kind and welcoming, and the service was absolutely stellar. Friendly, fast, and genuine. You can tell they really care about what they do. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a really good...
