P7 Beaute Day Spa — Attraction in Temple City

Got there just to do my eyebrows , checked in like normal. I knew it was going to be a little wait but they had me waiting over and hour just to get my eyebrows done . Mind you they were putting people into chairs to get their nails done that had gotten there after me . To make matters worse, I had asked how much longer it was going to be I order to get my eyebrows done which they then stated it would be a few minutes, they then took someone else to do their eyebrows In before me when I had been waiting for an hour. When I would ask how much longer it would be they did nor seem to care, At that point it was not about prioritizing the customer And going in and orderly fashion but rather attending who they felt like at the given moment. I would watch them and they would just scan the room and pick who was next instead of going by first come first serve. My patience was starting to diminish at that point but I waited some more and timed it , the person getting their eyebrows done was in there for more than 25 minutes . Gel pedicure was fine, pretty reasonable price too. The gel manicure however was not good. They used a solution to get my previous gel off which can burn if it gets on your skin. When it’s left on for a while, it causes the edges of your nails to curve into your skin which can become painful if left on for a long time. The lady that did my nails left this solution on for a while and when she finally started scraping the gel off, she was aggressively scraping toward my cuticles which was painful. She also didn’t take all the gel off. The next guy who came to finish my manicure finally took it all off and was more meticulous. I thought the gel polish was done well, but when I looked more closely I noticed he filed off a chunk of the sides of my nails. I asked for a sharper almond, but when I’ve filed my own nails at home, I’ve never needed to file off that much of my nail to achieve the right shape. DO IT! I just had a baby and hadn’t had my hands and feet done in months not to mention how long my eyebrows grew out! I came here last minute, for the first time, on VALENTINES (you know how hard it is to get in any where that day?). I gave them a call and they fit me in immediately. Normally I get either a full set or just an over lay with acrylic and gel on top BUT the salon owner talked to me about trying out Gel X as an alternative. The nail techs talk you through options, inform you on benefits and ultimately leave it up to YOU. No pushy tactics to run your bill sky high. I also came in with a photo of an EXACT color I wanted and the techs found colors to mix and layer to achieve what I was looking for. They also treated everyone who came in with such kindness. I walked in looking like a bum with only so much time to get these services before I was back to mom life, not once did I feel judged or discriminated against. Go here.
