Beef noodle soup and hand pulled noodles are top notch. The noodles are girthy, have good texture, obviously hand pulled, and are a wonderful transport mechanism for the flavorful beef broth. I had about 7 pieces of beef in my soup, which was adequate. Any more and it would detract from the primary purpose of ordering this dish, which are the soup and noodles. Honestly it was so good I forgot to take a picture. I had a side of pan fried dumplings, which were seared perfectly. The meat inside was cooked right, and complimented the crispy chewy textures of the wrapper. The boiled dumplings I could have done without. I ordered pork and cabbage. It obtained about a rounded teaspoon of meat and veg, and was rather unflavorful without the soy/vinegar mix that accompanied the dish. Lastly, how can one come to a Mandarin noodle shop without ordering the Xiao long bao? They call it Small Dumpling here. There's no pic on the menu, and it's hidden in the middle of the menu. Weird. It's strictly middling, for me at least. Our party was split in ratings. One said itl lacked flavor, similar to what I felt about the boiled version. I felt it was average, and so did the last person. The bao actually might've been slightly overcooked, so a few stuck to the tray, tearing the bottom and losing the holy Grail which is the juicy soup contained in the dumpling. overall, a good experience. Food came quickly, water was attentive with refilling out waters and tea pot.

Went here hoping to find the same taste and comfort as their other location (Mandarin Noodle House) in Monterey Park... worst idea ever!!! Would never come back here again even if they gave out the food for free. Atmosphere is okay, clean tables with plenty of space (now I know why) but service and food was terrible if I could rate this place in the negatives, I would. I called in my order for pickup immediately got attitude over the phone. I ordered 3 orders of pan fried dumplings and the lady only wanted to give me 3 tiny servings of dumpling sauce (Denny from the Monterey Park location use to give out per person as well but he would also make a really good dumpling sauce himself which he was always more than happy to make for my family). Now food wise.... TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!! There's nothing like the dumplings at the Monterey Park location, you could taste the love they put into their dumplings there, but here???? Every dumpling we ate felt like the chef hated their job and hate you too just by making you eat those thick flavorless things they call dumplings. Not even dumpling sauce could make me enjoy them. We threw out an entire order because they weren't even worth the calories. Please DO NOT EAT HERE if you are looking for the same comfort as the location on Garvey. Hoping Denny opens up his own place soon because I REFUSE TO EAT HERE EVER AGAIN. Really missing the family aspect at this location, other location makes you feel like you're right at home and never have been this dissatisfied. I don't even right reviews on places but I really am hoping to save someone else from thinking eating at this place is...

Disclaimer: I generally come here with my Chinese speaking family and speak Chinese (Mandarin)

Friendly and quick service! Have been coming since they still had stinky tofu on the menu (no longer do, but the new expanded menu is better in my opinion). Noodles, especially the hand rolled (not pulled) are very QQ and delicious. Don't know what Q means? Try these noodles and you will find out! It's kind of this cross between Al dente and chewy.

We come so often, the staff already know our regular cold dish order of shandong style chicken. Deliciously fresh cucumbers and minced garlic over chicken in a special sauce.

I highly recommend if you're looking for hearty,...
