Five Below — Attraction in Terre Haute

The store itself was great! Clean and had lots of different options. My issue is with customer service. I came in looking for games/activities for my friend’s bachelorette party. We were in the paint section and I saw this really cute 3 set of planters you could paint. The box was pretty banged up and you could tell the tape had been messed with, so I opened it to make sure there was nothing broken inside. An associate, who was clearly in his 40s, saw me and rudely said “Um excuse me, don’t open those. They don’t close back properly.” I tried explaining that the box was pretty beaten up and I I wanted to make sure I didn’t buy anything broken, but he just threw his hand up and walked away. I then noticed him sort of following me around at a distance and eye balling me. Me being a supervisor in a retail store, I knew he thought I was stealing. I felt very offended. I finished getting what I wanted, and went to checkout. As I was waiting on my friend to ring out after me, I overheard him LOUDLY talking about me to another associate. I just stared them down, smiled and shook my head. Pretty sad how customer service works nowadays. This isn’t the first rude interaction I’ve had with this man either. Five Below is a very nice place to shop for low priced items. Five Below is our family's go to for holiday and birthday gifts. There is options for kids to adults. On Christmas I always take my 2 kids 8 and 13 hear to pick gifts out for thier mom after I buy big gifts elsewhere. My kids love picking gifts out that they can tell thier mom they picked personally it makes them happy. Also on our last visit my kids were picking gifts out for a birthday party they had some of the iteams they picked was a woopy cushion and a nerf gun and the guy checking us out checked to make sure both where working properly before we payed. Love Love Love this store!!! It's a great place to get beauty products & journaling stuff for me and my girls at a super great price, plus they have a ton of other stuff I frequently stock up on (like my Palo Santo, white sage, and incense; yoga mats and other workout equipment & water bottles; Bluetooth speakers, phone chargers, car accessories, toys & games, even clothing)... I went yesterday and had a cart full of stuff that would easily have cost me at least $200 at Wal-Mart or other department store for only $75!!!!
