My wife and I wanted to take our dog to a dog park here in Texarkana and this one came to mind. I had never been there before so I didn't really know what to expect. We had a great time as did our little dog (Ben). The one thing that really stood out was that they have two fenced in areas. One for dogs over 25lbs and one for dogs under 25lbs. We were the only ones there in the small dog area but there were 3 big dogs in the area beside us. They had stations set up to clean up after our dog used the bathroom and even had a neat 'water fountain' made for dogs. Had a blast and will be back again. Read moreThis park is right off the highway so it makes for such an easy stop if you need to let the dogs get out and stretch on a road trip. There is a side for small dogs and a side for large dogs. The entire space is very shaded and there are picnic tables and benches throughout the area so you can sit and watch your pups play. There are water fountains as well for your pups.
