Flying Burger & Seafood Texarkana — Restaurant in Texarkana

We had a terrible dining experience last night, certainly my worst, at Flying Burger and Seafood. The whole dining area, tables, seats, floors and serving areas were all filthy. None had been cleaned or sanitized by staff. Soiled napkins littered the floor, and under tables, crumbs were on the seats, and tables. No one was cleaning, and the restaurant was virtually empty, with 4 tables being used. I asked for the manager, pointed these things out, and his reply was they had been busy, then he told me to leave and wait in my car for the food we had ordered, and paid for. He followed me out, and went into a tirade, belittling and threatening bodily harm at some future date, that he would find me. He took pictures of my license plate, and said he’d deal with me. Al this to a 79 year old couple parked in handicapped parking. I will not be returning. I don’t recommend this establishment, and this was our second bad experience here.

Posting for a great friend in Texarkana. Service is such an issue today along with hiring. We have to hire ‘anyone’ to fill that spot which gets businesses into trouble. This place is a hidden gem. Traveling back to Dallas my husband said he wanted a good old school burger. I got on Google and the places that came up we had already passed, then Flying Burger popped up and I said hurry get off right here. This restuarant did not disappoint at all. With awesome customer service and the extremely clean environment just made my entire day! Since it was so far from where we live we wanted to taste a little of everything. He had burger with wings, I ordered salmon salad with catfish plate. Everything was extremely delicious even after making it home to eat majority of it. The wings were so tasty, not that frozen taste that most places have. The beef burger met all his expectations, I even took a bite and instantly regretted not getting one. The salmon salad was huge and extremely tasty for dinner that night. If you haven't checked this place at you will not regret making a drive for some amazing food and customer service. My Mother in law and I came here, honestly didn't know what to expect. We were "WOWED" The hamburger was tip top great! And the fries, I think I could sit there all day and pig out on the fries! There's a nice lady that was working there taking the trays. She took our tray and told us "God Bless you ladies both with a great day." Do you know how much that simple statement meant to me and my Mother in law. It was a breath of fresh air to us both. Sure it's a bit pricey for a burger place, but so very much worth it, if only to have a sweet lady say simply "God bless you " oh yeah I will be back. The young man who took our order was smiling and happy as a lark and made us laugh 😂 everything was so easy to find, like extra mustard and all the condiments.
