SouthLife Leather Goods — Attraction in Thomasville

I drove 3 1/2 hours so I could personally pick out my purse and all the many accessories I wanted to match. Originally the order was not rung up correctly and I had to pay an extra $15 for the interior pocket. Not a problem I should’ve read the receipt. Received the wrong item and had a neighbor that was kind enough to buy it off me. I communicated with one of the employees with what I was looking for and even ordered more stuff! I did not receive the correct size that I wanted and gave details with what I wanted with the associate. Long story short I would’ve spent two grand to get what I wanted. I was very specific with what I wanted when I talk to the associate and even ordered more accessories! When I try to message them about this issue I was offered a store credit if I returned the item but that still wasn’t going to help me with what I ordered and what I was expecting to get. My advice is if you can’t walk out the store with exactly what you want Don’t special order anything! This is really sad because I was looking at buying even more stuff but if this is the way they’re going to handle things then I will not be purchasing anymore. So sad and very disappointed. Absolutely terrible experience. They seem to have great products, but their customer service is horrible for custom work. My husband and I dropped off an order on September 4th. They told us at the original meeting it would take around three weeks to complete. We waited until the end of October to call and check on it (to give them plenty of time) it had not even been started. We have called several times since and have gotten a couple different excuses. That they fired their production manager, that they never told us a certain time line(which they did), that they were not taking custom work at the time they took ours (then why did you accept it and tell us around three weeks). etc. Here we are 12/12 and they still have not started on our order.

I called today to tell themthat we would simply like our hide back and they never once offered to make things right and complete the order in time for Christmas, discount the order, or compensate us in anyway. We do not live in Thomasville and drove 30 miles to take our hide there and now have to drive 30 miles back to get it. This is my absolute favorite bag of all time! I love this store so much. They customized the design with the concealed carry pocket and ordered the color I wanted right around the busy Christmas Holiday. They took extra care to listen to all my and my mother's requests and really knocked it out of the park. I love the quality of the products, they are so durable and also unique looking. I got several Christmas gifts for my family and they all use and love them as well. I have been in love with this bag since I got it almost 10 months ago and have no plans to replace it. It's been with me through every season and every experience and been up to the task. I have spilled my baby's bottle inside it and my husbands soda outside it I have let lipstick melt in it and all of it has rinsed and wiped off easily and it still looks beautiful and chic. And believe it or not the bag still smells good. If the look of the store doesn't entice you enough follow your nose to the scent of quality leather. Amazing. I need that big day tripper next to use as a suitcase. Ha....
