Easily one of the best breakfast experiences I have ever had! And let me tell, eating at Q Cafe is an experience! I got a lucky seat right in front of the kitchen, watching each dish served fresh off the griddle. It was like a food runway show. The omelets are so colorful, filled with peppers and onions and maybe even some brisket! But truly, the biscuits are the stars of the show! I didn't know a biscuit could be so big and fluffy! If I had eaten nothing else, I would have left completely content. Each has a piece of southern love (aka mounds of butter) baked inside of it. My farmer's pride omelet was perfect and the added biscuit and home fries made it a struggle to finish the whole meal. Q Cafe is definitely worth the drive from Tallahassee and I will gladly be back soon!

I heard about this little cafe from my hair stylist. My family and I haven't lived in town long. We don't live in GA. We had tried a few times to eat here but were rather to late, or it was packed and there was a waiting list. I was told they have HUGE biscuits that two or three people could eat just one! All the people with me ended up getting different food so we could try it all out. We had a burger, one of the biscuits, one of the breakfast meals with three pancakes, eggs, & sausage, and pancakes with pecans, chocolate chips & bananas. The combination of the pancakes with all the toppings was SO GOOD! They were called the chunky monkey. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Family atmosphere and right on the brick street of beautiful downtown Thomasville, GA!

We got there right at lunch time and there was no waiting to be seated. Waitress very attentive and helped our indecisive table to choose. It does get smokey and slightly difficult to breathe when sitting next to the kitchen window but the food is great. Best biscuit around!!! The cold slaw has a strong onion taste. Pie was decent but they didn't have any from the selection on the menu. Brisket sandwich had great flavors. Chicken and biscuit was seasoned well. Pancake stacks were fresh and fluffy. Bacon crispy. Good quality and quanity of food for the price.

This is such a great spot....I hate that I didn't visit sooner. As with many of my "go to" spots, I found out about them through Yelp. I'd seen people post about the cafe but never took the time to make the drive from Tallahassee. Don't make the same mistake I did. It is totally worth it.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. We arrived shortly after noon on a Saturday. It is located in the heart of downtown so parking can take a minute to find. This is a small, quaint cafe with a nice family feel to it. The menu is a decent size with enough options to choose something whether you like seafood, pork or if you are a vegetarian. There is also a kids menu with 5 or 6 items on there. The coffee is very smooth and fresh. I got the brisket omelette (which I never had before but it was delicious. The food tastes fo fresh. I was satisfied without feeling heavy and bloated. I didn't take advantage for the biscuit dishes but I hear they are really popular....and they have a "cathead" biscuit which is huge! I will get that next time for sure. The portion size was perfect and the prices were fair.

The customer service is excellent. The server was pleasant, down to earth and attentive. The kitchen is somewhat of an open kitchen. They'd run out of fresh fruit so the kitchen manager just asked us through the window what we wanted to substitute. He then asked if our son ate eggs and said "I'm going to throw an egg on the grill for him too." We found that simple gesture to make our dining experience even better.

When we left, we had several staff members thank us for coming. The hospitality that this restaurant has is what many places have lost. I'll definitely be making more trips from...

My husband and I have been eating here for several years when we have an outing in Thomasville. Normally the food is excellent, otherwise we would not continue to return to Q Cafe. On Saturday, my husband ordered the Southern Tradition breakfast and they cooked the eggs sunny side up rather than scrambled. Not a big deal! The waitress immediately took them back to the kitchen and returned with scrambled. The reason I could only give 2 stars was because I ordered the Salmon BL Sea (which I have ordered numerous times). It was noon and they were out of salmon! The waitress said that they could do the sandwich with grouper. I said OK. The grouper (if that's what it was) was bland. No seasoning and very thin. Grouper is flaky and a thicker piece of fish. It was just OK. What really irritated me was when we received the check. The waitress charged $2.00 for the substitution! She NEVER told me there would be an additional charge AND I don't feel I should have been charged. They ran out of salmon. I didn't substitute grouper for salmon! Did I challenge it? No. They were busy and I didn't want to create a scene. Lesson learned for this restaurant and any other...ASK if there is an additional charge! Will we return to Q Cafe?? Of course! But like the saying goes..."Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice,...

The girls sitting people are very rude and lie. We had a party of 5 and was told it would be 30 minutes(we understand that it was busy and we didn't mind waiting) so we sat and waited and waited and waited. We saw parties that came in after us get sat down while the girls just looked at us. So another party of 5 showed up about 30 minutes after us and was told it would be a couple minutes. I got up and asked the girls about our party and she was like what was your name again and I told her and she looked at the list and saw it and was like oh I see you but the other girl already told the other party that it was ready for them so you will be next after them. We just got up and left. Not even sure why y'all have a waiting list if y'all don't even follow it. I've been here before and the foods isn't that great and it's way over priced. Savanah Moon has way better food...
