I called in an order. The young lady that took the order was super nice. Problems when I went to pick up. As I am not familiar with the layout of the place I went to the bar first. Watched the bartender play with his phone and totally ignore my presence as did the waitress. I finally asked the bartender for help and he told me to go to the resturant. Again not familiar with the place so I found my way on my own no directions. When I got to the desk. Two waitress ignored me and finally a third comes out of an office say in a curt manner "somebody will help you in a minute" and proceeded to walk off. Finally a very sweet young lady (I believe the one that took my order) comes and hands me a bag of food that has been sitting there since before my arrival. I asked how long it had been there. She claimed she had just put it there😒 doubtful, but whatever at this point I just want to leave... I pay and drive home with this food. When I open it I'm beyond disappointed. Its lukewarm (I live less than 7 minutes away from the restaurant). The portions are beyond small. I ordered the $30 Seafood Dinner- Red snapper(almost nonexistent), shrimp, scallops, and oysters. I will never return....Service sucks, food sucks, and value nonexistent!

Finally got a chance to stop in for dinner for my 50th Birthday. Having moved from NY to FL 4 yrs ago we have been desperate to find good food...(no offense southerners but the food down here just isn't on the same level as up north) anyway...we are SOOOO happy we got here. Was by far the best dinner I've had since moving here, my Filet Oscar was cooked perfectly and was extremely tender, the oysters casino were delicious as were the bacon wrapped shrimp, my husband had blackened whole flounder and it was superb! The cheesecake was also delicious. The service was great and our server stopped by numerous times to check on us and see that all was ok...all in all it was a prefect dining experience and well worth the money and 45 minute drive...we will definitely be stopping un again very soon!

Wow! The Greek chicken with all white meat was seasoned perfect and very very moist. I also had the sweet potato soufflé, rice pilaf and cheese grits on the side and each added a different and exciting level of flavors all on there own. My aunt raved on her Chicken Alfredo and the rich and plentiful sauce. We ended dinner with the very best slice of Coconut Meringue pie that I’ve had in all my 55 years. Gosh....the baker must NEVER retire! And, not to mention the service deserves a 5 star rating too! Thank you Ariel and Adrienne.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Just had the WORST chicken wings EVER!!! They were bone dry, rock hard and you could taste that they weren't fresh with that fridge taste that tells you they've been there too long!

Tasted my son's fries and they were nearly burned and greasy. You could taste that the grease was old and hadn't been changed. I don't even think they were freshly cooked! When a teenage boy won't eat the fries, you KNOW there's a problem!

Sent them back and the owner/manager came over. He was rude, refused to replace them, charged me for them and told me to GET OUT of his restaurant. I paid $48 dollars for the WORST lunch that I've ever eaten in my life! I will not be returning. He's certainly the RUDEST, most VILE and ignorant person I've run into in this beautiful town.

My waitress was GREAT and I tipped her well but you could tell that his staff is intimidated by him. They couldn't even look me in the eyes as we left his little dump. He's a tiny, little tyrant taking a legacy restaurant to his low level. He's an embarrassment to himself and his restaurant!

I've been going to that restaurant since I moved into this town. I've spoken with many people that have quit this restaurant and no one has a kind word to say about him.

I've traveled this country coast to coast and north and south. He is, by far, the WORST restaurant owner that I've EVER encountered anywhere on this planet! I WISH I COULD GIVE...

My first time at The Plaza. Giving the plaza a one star only bc of the food. There were four of us there for a birthday lunch. None of the food tasted good. Shrimp were over cooked. Although the sweet potato souffle had too much cinnamon in it, none of the other foods had any seasoning. The can beans, and can greens seemed to have been merely warmed through. My dad was eager to eat a good birthday lunch, but didn't even want to try the birthday slice of pie that was never brought to him. Saying "it would probably be as bland as everything else". Very unimpressed. The waiter was ok, but lacking knowledge of simple menu questions. The oldest restaurant in Thomasville, should have way better standards. WAY BETTER! But.... The hostess manager was the only thing that I can write a positive note about. She was extremely polite and well spoken, and probably underpaid. She deserves to be paid well! If The Plaza wants to continue to be the oldest restaurant in Thomasville, then they will need to do better, and be better. Bc being the oldest restaurant in Thomasville, doesn't mean anything if you can't be better than today's performance. Strive more for being the best restaurant in...
