Southland has been a family shopping place since I was a kid. Mom used to frequent J.C. Penney (currently Roses department store). I share lots of memories about Southland with my grandchildren. There used to be lots of stores like grocery stores, Woolworths, k&j meats, Kroger, Foodtown, just to name a few. But it's pretty empty now. It would be nice to see it revived once again. I frequent Roses. It's a great department store. It sells clothes, food items, household supplies, small appliances, decor, bathroom sets, and the list goes on. They need to get paper towels into bathroom though and also make sure that their sanitizing spray is at right strength and that each station is stocked to clean equipment. The sanitizing spray, seems way too diluted to be effective? Nobody wants staph or MRSA. Enough equipment to flow through your workout without wait, or at least too much wait to finish your routine... Although I will say that they need to crack down on people just hogging or sitting on machines while they text or Snapchat, so that others can get on. Read moreDrive through service was just awful. I was asked to pull forward to the #1 spot on the rail with no explanation why. I waited at the window for about 4 minutes before I pulled forward I then waited about 19 minutes before getting out of my car to go in. I walked in and asked where my food was they said they were waiting on my 2nd big mac and then handed me a bag that she added nothing at that point. I took my bag checked my order and walked out only to get in the car and see that my food was cold and the cheese wasn't melted on anything. I now drive to Reynolds road and this one is around the corner...
