Absolutely LOVED the movie I watched.. though because of a side light being on for most the beginning, it was very hard yo concentrate on the screen and pay attention. What you call it, adhd or something. I rarely go to movies and when I do, I hope for the full MOVIE THEATER EXPERIENCE. But I did not get that this time. Next time I'll go to like a Megaplex, since they have luxury seats and no lights on during movies.. it's just way more professional. Now I know though. [A learning experience] 💺 I missed most the beginning of the movie because I had to go out of the theater twice to ask the light be turned off so I can see the movie.. apparently all theater rooms keep a wall light on at all times, that makes no sense to me. They should turn off during the movie and turn back on after (just makes sense) how are you going to have the full theater experience lacking that function? 👀 There should also be very dim lights just at the feet so you can exit and enter the theater safely like I'm pretty sure Megaplex has. Why do other theaters not have this feature? Watching the movie, it looked like a black cloth over the top and bottom of the screen hindering the full view of the movie. Yeah I get wide view screens, but clearly there is that much more of the movie being hidden, I want to see the whole thing! Don't other theaters give you the full authentic version of the movie? Not hindering any part of the intended visuals. I guess I'll just have to wait until next rare time of theater outing to have the real experience. Oh well. 🎥 It's an experience for the journeys. Oh, I totally lost a pen there 🖋️ didn't feel like going back to retrieve it, sensitive to energies and just not worth it. I give the to the...
Read moreI believe in supporting local but am so disappointed in the condition of this movie theater. I went to see a movie with my family for my birthday and use movie passes I was gifted. I’ve been going to this theater for 22 years. Over the past two years, not only are seats in the theater ripped, broken, and some you can’t even sit in, but the cleanliness is horrible. I’m surprised the health department has not shut it down. The bathrooms are disgusting, popcorn everywhere, fingerprints on everything, all surfaces are sticky and visibly gross. The employees behind the counter standing around gabbing acted like we were an inconvenience when we walked in. They were not friendly. The theater was not busy and we were the only ones in the lobby for a duration. Instead of standing and talking during a slow time, why not vacuum and wipe things down and take some pride in your work environment? Management should be on top of that. With the variety of quality theaters just around the mountain patrons can go to and the growth of our community who deserve a nice, well-cared for theater close to home, UEC needs to invest in upgrades and management who cares OR sell this theater to a...
Read moreOrdered pizza's. Didn't expect them to taste fabulous, but it was lunch time and wanted more than popcorn. Both pizza's were under cooked to the point of the crust being raw dough inside some of it. Inside the theater, the sound for the previews worked but not the video. Wasnt sure we were going to see the film so brought this to the attention of the ticket taker who stated not worry as the film was on a separate projector that did work, but if we really wanted to see the previews we needed to go knock on management's door for them to fix it, which he then pointed the way. We didn't bother with that; if they don't want to sell more viewings that's their business. Once the preview audios quit running, we all sat in silence for awhile until someone else went to complain, then the movie started. Movie quality was barely average, considering I was at a theater. If I was at the dollar show, it would be expected, but I get better visual off my 8 year old tv at home. It's worth the drive into Salt Lake for a good theater since I'm going to pay the same price: $13.50 matinee tickets and...
