My kids loved it! And so did I. We toured everything they had open and I learned a lot. I climbed everywhere you were alloud too and took pictures untill my phone died. I'm going to set up a private tour with the person behind the desk to see some more exibits. I'm exited for it. I did not realize how many local mines there were.

My daughter LOVES this place has a blast everytime! It's got trains you can walk thru. They are in awesome condition. They are only open in the summer tho.

Wonderful museum! We have a 2 year old who really enjoys trains and loved seeing this! They also did a fantastic family-friendly Halloween event (free) with all sorts of fun decorations and activities (face paint, bouncy house, treats, bean bag toss, and more). Also helped promote local business and Utah State (small booths along the path). Would recommend registering for events and calling to schedule a visit. Staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommend for a...

We came here for a Girl Scout Journey in a Day event and all I can say is WOW! I've passed this place so many times, but haven't ever made it in and what a mistake that was. There is so much to see and learn about. Any time the girls went in to use the restrooms I had to pull them out because they were stop interested in the exhibits. The train is a must to go through! If your looking for something to do in Tooele definitely stop by you'll be...

This was a fun experience. However, it felt as though more organization and cataloging could have been done. More about the people working the railroad and history about them rather than so much about trains and the mining industry. I was hoping to find stuff about my grandpa there because he worked for the railroad in Tooele for so many years. Nothing. Not even much about other Tooele contributors to the railroad lines... Still, it was a...
